Hotel Golden Dragon

Average hotel.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The location is good as it's close to the Port. But it is on the Macau side which isn't as popular. The room here is small. Its price is cheaper but there's not much going on around. I recommend staying over at Tampa for more fun. If you're into historic stuff then stay here.

Hotel Royal Macau

Centrally located short distance from downtown.

Hotel comfortable and convenient to see historic sites. A reasonable price option in a very nice place during high room capacity at the big casino hotels. Surprised to find a short walk to Lisboa Casino if you know secret path through a parking lot. Recommend hotel breakfast. Nearby sit down dinning was unexpectedly quite limited.

Ole London Hotel

plaza

There's a plaza across from the hotel with a nice fountain and it's quite relaxing especially to pick up some beers from the local 7-11 and just do Club 7-11 at the plaza. For those who are not expats living in Asia Club 7-11 means buying cheap beer in a convenience store and finding a park or other spot to sit and chill...it's legal. Please clean up your trash and don't ruin it for us who live here.

Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central

Fabulous. Great value at the newest big casino property on the Cotai strip

Room was luxurious and spacious. The large bathroom has a full tub and separate shower. The entire property is beautiful, new, elegant and tasteful. It's across from the Venetian, next to City of Dreams and connected to the Conrad and a beautifully designed mall. We visited the Venetian, the Wynn, MGM, Star World and the Galaxy, and I still like the Holiday Inn Macao best for gracious service, creative Asian-inspired design, and outstanding value.
