The hotel was terrible if you love your family dont take them here, The rug, chairs, floor in bath room were so dirty, the towels were old and hard and no room cleaning service. I travel 18 weeks out of a year in all south america and I haven't been in a worst hotel for the price than this one. Don't spend your money here it is not a 3 star its more like a 1 star. What a shame, a place with so much potencial so run down.
Great location
We enjoyed being in downtown Lynchburg with its culture and scenery. The River Walk is beautiful. Restaurants were plentiful. The property is a little dated, but they are making improvements. We enjoyed our stay.
Front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. Huge free pkng garage adjacent with hotel entrance steps away- also great; felt safe. Room was relatively clean, but the property definitely needs updating; decor, furniture, bathrooms, etc. Small things were overlooked; dead bugs on the windowsill, rusty bathroom fixtures. Nice amenities in room, but again; it all needs to be refreshed; everything is visibly outdated, "economical" and worn. The A/C, the TV, microwave, coffee maker, fridge - all plugged into a giant power strip on the floor in the room. Maid service was knocking on guests' doors to clean rooms at 9:30 am- that's a bit much. I hope they can spruce up and modernize the facility. Rates were reasonable, considering the much higher cost of everything right now; but I did expect a "nicer" property for the price. Again, staff was very warm, helpful, professional and kind.
We ended up leaving a day early and the beds were loud and broken. Smelled like smoke. It was dirty and didn't seem like it was in the best area.
Beautiful hotel and the staff was very courteous. The hotel is in the middle of the cultural area of downtown. The hotel is just a block away from the Texas Inn the, "T-Room" as the locals call it, which is an interesting dining experience. I definitely recommend staying here.
Pool closed, restaurant/bar closed, no breakfast, hair dryer in room didn’t work.
The first room I was given smelled so bad they had the windows open and it was 40 degrees outside. The second was ok but the stove is old and the linens are old and thin. And the whole place is dirty. Very disappointed
Walking distance to almost everything downtown. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Great location for going to Lockn Festival which is delayed by one day!
Hotel is perfectly located for my purposes. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
For that kind of money, we usually get a good Continental breakfast!! Nothing was offer except a small pot in the room that didn't make enough coffee for the two of us!
Wish I could have gotten the king room. Was a good stay. Only thing missing was an exhaust fan in shower, whole room was humid!!! But location and staff are perfect. I will stay here again.
The hotel is very nice, conviently located with very quiet rooms. The staff is very pleasant and quite helpful. We had a nice relaxing breakfast in the restaurant. Although we did not go to the bar it looked very welcoming. I have stayed there twice and would stay again.
Stayed one night while visiting. Bed was very comfy and staff was great.
Great location and easy access to expressway! Staff was very helpful and welcoming.
