Property was convenient location for my stay and was adequate. No breakfast of any type was offered, which is disappointing as virtually all competitors have at least a minimal breakfast with coffee. Security of my room was a little concerning as the fit of the door latch to the frame face plate was not good in my opinion. Also the entrance door fit in general to the frame was no proper as there wasn't a good seal to keep air infiltration out.
Great stay with pets, easy access to rooms and quiet night sleep. Reasonable rates for traveler with pets.

This hotel was a little old and could use some updating in the bathroom and vanity area but overall it was very clean. The beds were comfortable for me but the pillows were awful so I did not sleep well. The tv was nice and the breakfast that is included were very good. The staff at the desk was very nice and friendly. I would stay there again.
Did not raise rates for special occasion weekend as some other facilities in the area. Great location for my needs for High School Reunion at Massanutten Military Academy. One drawback the breakfast areaat the Econolodge. Not enough tables and chairs in the breakfast area. Choice of items for food was limited. 3 choices of cereal, apple and orange juice, coffee, and watching patrons with the waffle iron apparently there was some difficulty with appliance. Still, I was wanting an inexpensive one night stay, so it fit the bill.
The owner needs to be more gentle. He was rude and didnt give coffee when requested
So I was driving up rt 81 and decided to crash in Woodstock for the night. I picked the econo lodge because it was the least expensive. The hotel was a little off the highway but only by like a mile or so. the room was clean, the cable worked, shower had good pressure, and the bed comfort was above average. There was a little restaurant on site that I didn't go to but it looked OK. Two miles down the road is a fantastic steak house though. I had a solid night with no complaints.
Great place to stay, clean and comfortable. Breakfast bar was a little light. But the staff was very friendly and efficient! I would stay there again!!!
This motel does need to improve some things. It was ok, but not one of my favorites!! It needs some updating!
the motel was an old one off the main highway, which made it quiet. Rooms face the parking lot, are not interior. The room was very basic, clean, and everything worked. For a one night stopover, it worked well for us.
We arrived late at night in the middle of a storm. We had originally meant to camp, but the weather was too severe. We needed a place that allowed pets, and the Econolodge was the only option available. While it looks a little sketchy on the outside, we were pleasantly surprised by the staff and the rooms were pretty ok. Nothing fancy, but much better than the exterior would suggest.
Extremely friendly staff in the great town of Woodstock, VA. And only 5 minutes from Murray's Fly Shop in Edinburg.
