Stayed in a suite which was a good deal for the price. The whirlpool tub in the bedroom was really lovely. Breakfast included was nice, but limited in options. Had thought it would be a buffet but it was scrambled eggs or cereal and served to you. Building itself could use some updating but room was clean. Seemed understaffed, all relates to what was probably deemed to be necessary cost cutting. Probably also the reason the area that used to be the pool area was closed off.
The hotel has not been properly upgraded since it was built, the renovations that have been done were to keep the hotel to code. The hall way drop celling to hide the fire code upgrades, was so low that my 6'5 son had to duck to miss hitting his head on the sprinkler heads. The rooms were 55° F with the 1970 style window heater on max for the entire stay. We asked the cherk to fix the issue and he said that the heater didnt get any better. He did however give us an extra blanket. We checked out the next morning and were charged extra because we didnt stay the full week.
Stayed here with another couple. Excellent check-in - very friendly - free newspapers and a hot breakfast the next morning. This was one of the best Days Inns that I have stayed in. Overall a great experience.
Stayed here for two nights. The location was great. We love the included hot breakfast. No complaints there. However; several other aspects of this hotel were lacking. The hallway rugs were in need of a vacuuming, the toilet in our bathroom had not seen a toilet brush for some time (yuck), and the floors were in need of a sweep. Thank goodness we were on the second floor, as our window lacked a screen as well as a lock! While a bit of grime and questionable security didn't make the best impression, the worst thing was the lack of a fitted bed sheet. The bottom sheet was merely a tucked in flat sheet which became untucked several times during the night. If you are a 'stationary' sleeper, this won't be a problem. However, for those of us that flip and flop during the night....what a pain!!
Long Black Hair in bathroom sink - I'm blond....Very friendly service at front desk & breakfast service. Nice breakfast too. Rooms located next to main road were noisy as were the room heaters/air conditioners. I have to go back in June for a wedding & would rather stay at an Air BNB.
First room unacceptable with carpets, old bedspreads and smell. Second room better with hard floors but stuffy. Well appointed room and bath. Everything was a little unfinished, paint outside, etc... good but loud A/C. Home cooked breakfast very good with great service. Rather unwelcoming.
Due to past experiences, we were a little leery of a Day's Inn, but it was a pleasant surprise. Close to shopping, fast food etc with an included cooked breakfast, the room was spacious and clean, although a little dated. Friendly front desk and restaurant staff.
The Restaurant was very very good and the service and food was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!
The floor of my room was hardwood, and it was exceptionally clean. The hotel restaurant breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the space was very nice. We had lunch at the cafe there. It had a great interior with delicious food and coffee. The deck off the restaurant and cafe was great, and perfect for the kids. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!
