Best restaurant around!!! I've been here many times for lunch and dinner. Staff are always very friendly and the food is always great! I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, or even stopping in for a meal!
Sleep the first night was a little rougth due to the seetins not fittiong what looked like a brand new mattersss. The staff corrected this before the next nigth. Breakfast was restricted to scrambled eggs bacon (or sausage) hash browns and toast.
I don't like to make a bad comment , I found the room had a slight musty smell about it . room was clean but maybe it was the fact it was just closed up .and it is slower time of year . but overall my stay was ok
We booked a room with a kingsize bed online a month before our arrival. When we checked in the kingsize bedroom was not available and we were given only a $10.00 refund. This is the second time Wyndham has not honoured its online rates.
Pre paid for a room with a King sized bed but they decided some one else deserved it more than we did! We reserved over 6 months in advance so we could have a treat while we attended a wedding. So they gave us a room with 2 double beds witch was better than nothing. But on the bright side the woman on duty gave us a discount on the room rate and the hot breakfast was great. Staff were great and the room was quiet.
The rooms were well priced and very nicely laid out. Clean and very well stocked with everything a traveler could need. Quiet and peaceful and the staff was wonderfully friendly. You can park right in front of your room and there is access to the parking lots and inside hallways.
Well this was a review that was long overdue, I stayed here between late march early April and I had a good time here. First of all when I was here they were undergoing renovations in their dining hall, but I was not disturbed by the renovations, I did however had an issue with my Key card not working for my room, and as a result got a different room with a working key Card a minor issue but not a deal breaker. The staff is friendly and helpful, and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Now I will say this... DAYS INN SYDNEY TAKE NOTE OF THIS Day's Inn Bridgewater served a HOT full service BREAKFAST in their dining hall in the morning. and Days Inn Bridgewater makes use of their dinning hall unlike Days inn Sydney who just snuffed it and wondered why the dining hall was a money loser. This Days Inn is very close to many places to grab food, or snacks, but in a town where everything closes at 10:00pm you don't always want to go out to a fast food place at 6:00pm so actually using the dining hall for what its used for is a good thing. This days inn also has a private entry for rooms on the ground floor, so you can get delivery and come in late at night without disturbing the front staff if you are playing DD and you are bringing friends back from a day of sampling Nova Scotia's distilleries. the rooms though could use a bit of an update, in fact I would like to see better Access to power outlets for my laptop rather than daisy chaining power bars from the TV to the work desk to do paperwork for work or send e-mails. Other than that though, this place is a nice place to stay at if you are exploring The south shore or passing through to Yarmouth.
We had no issues with our stay. I was a little nervous staying at another Days Inn with the horrible experiences I had at OTHER properties in the past. But this place did pretty well. The place was kept clean and staff was helpful and friendly. I would have no problem returning to this location.
The hotel was what one expect for the price. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only complaint would be the breakfast. A hot breakfast was offered, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, but healthier options were not available. Other than that a good choice in Bridgewater.
This hotel in bridgewater sits up on a hill and looks like it has been recently renovated. We stayed for 6 nights as we were nearby for a funeral. Checking in we got room keys and we're told.our room.was way down the driveway in the motel drive up.section. drove down got all bags out and door wouldn't open. Tried for several minutes before we hear yelling from the entrance with the front desk clerk that our room had been changed. All stuff back in car and drive back up front got keys for a second floor room which the hallways were gloomy and not well lit. Got to room. Rooms were spacious with stained carpet and something under it thay created a ledge I almost tripped on near the couch. Bed was queen size a little hard with slight divot from previous people. Small tv and don't think the room had been used all winter as the overpowering smell of burning dust emenated in the room when we turned on the heat. Enough so that we turned it completely off when we left so we didn't come back to a possible.fire. This room was a standard hotel room and the price.of $561 for 6 nights seemed steep. Good water temp in bathroom and standard amenities in the room. Room attendant was friendly and cheerful. Central location to stores and restaurants and movie theater. When checking out I asked for a receipt and got a rude comment that I was to have got one through booking.com. .. well uhh u used a different credit card and booking.com doesn't handle payments so I mentioned I need a paid receipt.. she was taken back that I even asked for it...like it was a privilege that I stayed there not that I chose to.... All in all.3 out of 5 and I probably won't be back April 19-25th 2017 room 214
