Well fantastic!!! The view from room and dinner room could not get any better . The staff is fantastic ,friendly !!! The chowder was amazing as for the rest of the food including lobster & scalloped dinner . We booked 4 nights and stayed 6 . Can not wait to return!!!

After the power outages we visited to have a much needed breakfast, tea and coffee. We waited in line for a while because it was full, understandably as many people in the area were without power. We ordered and waited, and waited, and waited, until one of the other servers asked if we’d ordered. We said yes so she went to check on the food. When she returned to the dining room she didn’t come and tell us what she had found out so we had to follow up and ask her, and we’re informed that our food was on its way. We asked about the drinks, “Oh, you ordered drinks too?”, yes, so she went to follow up on those. One of my two poached eggs were soft as ordered, but the most annoying thing is that we honestly thought our server had finished her shift she was so inattentive. No refills on coffee offered, no water, no checking to see if everything was ok. It was just really poor. When she brought the bill and asked if everything was ok, I said “not really”, to which she replied “oh I’m very sorry about that”. She didn’t ask what was wrong, so why ask? Even paying the bill at the front of house was impersonal, didn’t ask us how our food was. We really felt like they didn’t care, and we certainly won’t be going there ever again.

Stopped for lunch. The view and service are wonderful... but we had the chowder (didn't finish it!) and it was awful, watery, over fishy, no veg at all, and cold ..... really it was the worst chowder in Nova Scotia

The view of the harbour is very nice. That said, the parking and the breakfast are not included. When I asked the front desk about the parking, the employee replied that I had to park « whenever I could find a parking spot ». We had to find a paid parking spot on the crowded streets and had to bring our suitcases up several flights of stairs. The room was spacious, but outdated. For the price, I would rather stay in Bridgewater. We will not be back.

We stayed 2 nights in room #4. You really can’t get much better than the view out of the room. Looking over the Harbour first thing in morning was wonderful. This should really only be rated 3 stars as the bed was hard, no fitted bottom sheet and thin mattress pad lay on top of mattress, but did I mention the view?? Just a couple things could really make this a 4-5 star suite. It was nice to have a sofa to sit on when in room. We didn’t eat in restaurant.

My husband and I had lunch hoping for good seafood with a view of the harbour. I can make allowances for hectic days at a restaurant and Lunenburg was hopping with tourists. However, the table was dirty, the menu sticky and the service dreadful. The food was mediocre, I had the seafood chowder and it was very watery, husband had fish and chips and deemed it so-so. Both meals were lukewarm,a very disappointing experience.

We had lobster tail and shrimp. Since I am gluten free I asked for shrimp to be pan fried. The lobster tails were chewy and the shrimp was just like the frozen store bought ones. Our meal was cold which was very disappointing. Expensive for what we got.

Breakfast was traditional and delicious. Opted to sit out on the deck with a great view of the harbor. Indoor seating looks comfortable and clean. Good prices, efficient wait staff, we plan on trying dinner the next time.

We had a very nice lunch on the deck of this quaint Dockside Inn. The service was good and the waitress helpful. My granddaughter has Celiac disease so she need gluten free food. We were able to get her salmon and veggies. The others had seafood chowder and a lobster sandwich which was very tasty.

Here is a place that you can eat delicious surf & turf at reasonable price looking at the ocean view and colorful Lunenburg buildings. Good thing is prices are reasonable starting from $10 or less. Homemade blueberry pie was unforgettable which was not sugary sweet instead it was tart and fruity. We appreciate our server, Kayla, she was pleasant and welcoming.
