The accommodations were very comfortable and good central location for walking around Lunenburg. The restaurant was quiet good.
The Salt Shaker is a unique property. I was impressed with the cleanliness however my room should get some attention. There were light switches that did nothing, the hot water faucet dripped and other minor things. The bed was comfortable, it was nice having the Kurig coffee maker, it was quiet at night although the exhaust fan for the restaurant is on the roof over the room I was in and it made noise until they shut it off at night. The room was large (room #2) and comfortable. I wish there were more channels to choose from on tv as I wasn't able to watch a hockey game I was hoping to see.
Beautiful room but need to get a better shade for the skylight directly over the bed. We were awake with the sun.
First, the staff is almost non-existent. You have to go downstairs to a packed restaurant to get someone to help you and, after the restaurant closes at 9 pm, there is no one available as well as in the morning. Strange set-up. To get to our room, we had to climb the tallest, steepest staircase with all our luggage in hand. Very dangerous! Because of these previous items, I would not stay here again or recommend. Our room was extremely nice, very clean and comfortable with a harbor view out of one window.
