Friendly reception and staff, nice room (our dog had also his own bed) , very good breakfast parking possibility was good we only had some difficulties to find the reception ( front and back entrance) when we arrived with our car ( this is the only room for improvement in this wonderfull hotel )

A beautiful hotel situated in beautiful surroundings. Our suite was big and clean and boasted amazing views of the lake and mountains. The breakfasts were fantastic every morning , the restaurants offered lovely food and we even had an afternoon tea which was of the highest quality. But what made the hotel a real gem were all the staff. Friendly service from all and would go beyond to make the guests happy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The Hotel is a 5 star in a very beautiful place. Rooms are large and my one had a balcony with a pretty good view of the lake. The staff treats you like a king, like I haven´t seen for a long time....

Three night stay in 2 interconnecting rooms. Rooms were large and well appointed, not my style in terms of decor, but very comfortable all the same. Bathrooms need updating, it took a long time to get hot water in one of the bathrooms. Service in the hotel is very good, friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very good with wonderful coffee. Unfortunately we were not able to get a reservation at the Michelin starred restaurant. We tried the casual restaurant which was fine, although on the night we tried it was raining and so we had to eat inside and the dining room was little more formal than what we were after, it would have been perfect on their exterior terrace. The pool area is very nice, clean and well maintained as are the gardens. Very nice hotel.

What an amazing hotel. We spend 4 incredible days in this little paradise. The staff was amazing, close to us and responding to any demands. The food was very good. The spa is very nice. There is a small deck where you can swim directly in the lake...We can feel that this palace belongs to a family and not to a chain. The only bad point is that few clients didn’t know how to dress properly. We will come back!

We were disappointed with the hotel despite good expectations and high hopes. This hotel didn't really reach to the service level of other luxury hotels. Especially service at the restaurant was inconsistent - at breakfast, for example, we were served by four people and nobody seemed to know what they were doing and they were mixing all the orders. The breakfast itself was also a huge disappointment: convenience food and very few options. Although the possibilities in such food area are limitless. In the evening, the same service pattern was repeated in the restaurant, no one took overall responsibility and the orders came in different order, something was forgotten, we waited, then again forgotten and we waited and lastly all cost hundreds of euros! The room was styled nicely and stylishly in old-style and views from the balcony were breathtaking, but the final luxury touches were still missing, like the bed and bedding were by no means special. The bathroom was also really impractical and the floor surfaces slippery. There were also half-used items and just a few towels. If you still choose to stay at this hotel you should definitely book a room with a balcony towards Lake Lugano. Next time, though, I'll choose another hotel.

The hotel was a pure disappointment. From the moment we entered - it smelled and looked old and stuffy. Our room was old and felt like 3* stay... Location is not convenient- you have to walk around 15 minutes in the industrial area to the city center. Despite the fact that hotel is dog friendly, in reality they don’t allow dogs anywhere except the room, which made our stay very unpleasant. The reception lady was arrogant and we didn’t feel welcome after a long trip. The reception manager never showed up when I asked to speak about our dog. We stayed in many ‘small luxury hotels’, but this one was the worst. Never again.

Once you enter this hotel, you feel the peacefulness of the place. Service is very good, the rooms are quite large and nicely decorated. When one reads the menu at the Relais restaurant, it sounds very good. Unfortunately even when trying to find some of the flavours announced in the dishes it falls short. It is a shame but the food is good. Just frustrating when they announce something and you can't find the taste.

Well trained staff, relaxing but stylish ambiance, well-manicured gardens, nice area to relax right by the lake. Food of high quality, rooms immaculate. Free bus tickets into town, boat hire in front of the hotel. Indeed a gem! We will be back. Thank you!

We as a family absolutely loved this hotel !! I cannot recommend it highly enough ... You will find everything in the hotel and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back. We had the room with the garden view and thought it was great to have.
