We will definitely be back here the next time we come to visit our son at Texas Tech! It is clean, the staff friendly & welcoming, the hotel is conveniently located (right off the highway, easy access, and just down the street from our son’s rental house), the breakfast was great (so much more than just continental- eggs, meat, fruit, yogurt…), and the lobby is very open and spread out with nice small areas to work. I was able to come down there while my hubby slept in and had a lovely space to read, work, and also to call a friend! Also, we drove to Lubbock after work on a Friday from Dallas so got in very late. The desk staff was present & ready to welcome us! Thank you!!!

Hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly but absent from the front desk in the early evening. I'm sure they were in the back, but a little disconcerting from a security standpoint after dark. Water pressure was weaker than most hotels I stay in. Had to call the front desk to figure out how to work the shower. There was a pull down from the mouth of the spicket that I have never seen before. An instruction card on the bathroom would be helpful. Breakfast was typical for this tier of hotel with decent hot food selections.

I have never been so impressed and pleased with a hotel like I was with this one. I picked it because of the reviews and I was not disappointed at ALL! The breakfast was EXCELLENT for continental! The food didn’t taste generic like most continental. The breakfast was GOOD! It really was. I’m not sure old the place is but it is very nice and I will definitely book there again if I am in Lubbock and need somewhere to stay. I was there visiting someone at UMC Lubbock and it was easy access and very convenient to get to and from the hospital. I definitely recommend it to anyone. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

The room was very clean, the maintenance staff were very good and friendly. However, the front desk person when I arrived acted like she would rather be anywhere else than at work. She was very brusque and when she handed me my key folder the room number was illegible. When I asked her to confirm she seemed very put out. When I got to my room the key cards didn't work. I went back down and told her and she acted like it was my fault. She re-programmed the cards and they worked the second time. When I have had a five hour drive to get to Lubbock this is not the reception I want to get. I am staying at your hotel again in two weeks and if I get the same reception I will change hotels for future reservations. I checked in around 3pm on 10/10.

The entrance light to our room didn’t work. So our room seemed very dark. Our first day there was no hot water. Someone took a 10 minute shower before me, but really? So taking a lukewarm to cool shower wasn’t ideal. The sink drain seemed clogged and took awhile for water to drain. The room seemed crammed and and there were multiple tables in our room so felt even tighter. At least it was clean. First and last time there.
