They double charged me and nobody seems to give me back my money. I’ve been going at this for over a week now. They have no manager ever on duty and I was there for four days. I have contacted them with numerous emails as well as your company calling them twice. They have yet to refund me my money and extra charges that were never even used by us. Also it’s not a one time thing because my son has a separate account and they did exactly the same thing to him with these weird charges and double charging for the room. I would like somebody to please get me my money Back either from Orbitz or from them I’m only paying once for my stay not twice. When you go down to the front desk there is always a complaining person right in front of me. This just makes me wonder how bad this place really is because it is run poorly.

The staff was friendly,the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. but the overall condition of the hotel is falling behind. First impressions are fine, but many important details are overlooked. The pool condition is sub-par, and the pool heater was not working. It was too cold to swim, and that is one of the reasons my family choose this hotel in the first place. The smoke/fire detector was unhooked in the pool bathroom!!! The room appeared clean, overall, but the ice bucket still had melted ice in it. :-/ I asked for a discount, but they said I'd have to do that through Orbitz. (I have not tried that yet, but if that is true, that is a strike against getting hotels through Orbitz. It takes away my financial bargaining power at point of service.)

Carpet very stained and dirty. Didn't want to step on it.

Bathroom was moldy and had loose floor tiles. Carpet was tacky, I mean sticky tacky. Yuck. Don't look under sink where drain is! Things living there. Shower head was 90% plugged up. Believe me, Hampton won't be one of our choices again.

We got there at 11:00pm for a quick night stay on the way to North Carolina. Hotel was quiet and great for sleeping. Close to Starbucks for a morning coffee before hitting the road

If you are needing to stay in the anchorage area, this is a great hotel nearby. It's on Alliant where there are about 7 other hotel options, but this was the best value we found for a wedding in town.

Arrived for check-in around 5:00 pm. Clerk very cordial and pleasant. Went to room only to find it was a smoking room. The reservation was for a non-smoking room. I'm allergic to smoke so I called the front desk and requested a nonsmoking room that didn't smell like smoke. The front desk said I REQUESTED a smoking room. They had no other rooms available and added that unless their manager talked with someone [...] there would be no refund [...] There is NO MANAGER ON DUTY AT THE HAMPTON INN ON A SATURDAY BEFORE THE KENTUCKY DERBY!! [...] Needless to say, I WILL NEVER stay at a hotel that has smoking rooms [...] The bath towels REEKED of smoke, the curtains, spread, etc. I ended up with a migraine. Hampton Inn [...] ended up losing a customer. Neither was helpful and it was clear that customer service was not a priority with either business. Lesson learned.

cold pool, warm ice

several options on alliant - this is a good option for value
