Great location in Highlands neighborhood. Artsy, high-end area of big trees, off-beat venues and gay scene. Apparently only hotel in the immediate area. No parking. At your own risk on the street.
Hotel is weird combo of luxury punctuation among modern cheap materials occupying century old business building. Luxury shower with bench broken off, cheap particle board cabinetry, and original broken and patched slab floor. Strange choices.
Clientele is loud, no regard for shared space or moderated volume, and Louisville bars are open till 4, sooo...
I think you're paying for location. And I will likely stay again for that reason.
