Friendly,helpful staff

The rooms are really old and everything was worn out or really dirty. The bathroom was in poor shape and the carpet was so dirty that my socks were brown after walking around the room when we checked in. When we got into the room you could hear the TV from the room above us but it was 9pm. By the time we went to bed it was 10-10:30 and I sleep with ear plugs so I was good. About 2am the room above us was so loud it woke me up and my wife had been laying there not wanting to wake me since 10:30. The room above us was talking so loud and moving furniture around it was unbearable. I called the front desk AND the operator 5 time over the next hour and just got a covid message. Finally after 3 hours a banged on the ceiling and the noise got quiter for a little bit then started up again around 4am. When I went up to check out I told the front desk and she said oh, you have to call that number and pointed to the wall in the lobby? So at 2am to make a noise complaint I have to get dressed, drive up to the front desk and call some number on the wall to make a noise complaint? When I was there, there was another couple that were also complaining about another building with a super sick/crazy person that kept them up all night so I think this is just a shady MOTEL that doesn't care. The property is located close enough but now walking distance to downtown so with party people and crazy people around it might be better to stay somewhere else.

Located right off highway 17 this place is easy to find & get to. Spread over a large are, its spacious and nice. Grounds kept very nice. Staff was pleasant & helpful, check-in was quick & easy. The room was clean and comfy. We had a balcony looking over the courtyard where the pool is and lots of well manicured shrubs and trees. Price was great for what I ended up with. Very happy with this place!

I love all the grass to be able to hang with the family. However, this particular weekend you were housing a few baseball teams me they were disruptively beyond noisy til the early morning hours. Sleep was difficult to say the least.

The staff here is great (was very friendly, efficient and helpful) and the grounds are beautiful but the room was another story. The room was hot and the swamp cooler was very loud and didn't cool the room down until over 4 hours later. The room also had a musty smell. Needless to say we did not get a good night's sleep. Also the bathroom door wouldn't shut and the WiFi was spotty. I would not stay here again.

Good location right off the 17, close to entrance and exit. Good price. Good bar. Old rooms. It is an older resort, probably lost its resort status a decade ago.

It was all that was available for Graduation...I was pleasantly surprised...nice enough !

Beautiful grounds and plantings. Sweet staff and nice breakfast.

The staff here is very friendly and the room spacious and clean. This is an older hotel so it is worn in places. The biggest down side is the noise. I was in a downstairs unit but could hear the people upstairs walking around, etc. They had a nice buffet breakfast and free bottled water in the room. The stay would be more pleasant in an upstairs unit.

The grounds were very nice and well kept. The breakfast was ample and filling.

Hello Mike, I am sorry that the room that was given to you did not meet your expectations and that you encountered noise disturbances during your stay. While we do have limited office hours, we are staffed with overnight onsite personnel that can assist with any overnight requests/issues. The overnight staff has a separate phone number which is provided to guests via voice mail when calling our office during the closed after hours, and the number is also posted on the office doors. You stated you called the afterhours line and received no response. We are constantly working on improving our rooms and the service we provide.
