"Guest checkin was great. Naqib was helpful, funny, and efficient. It is not in the best neighborhood of Eureka, but I never felt it while on property. It was clean, well lit, very obvious cameras throughout. The parking lot was fenced in from the neighborhood which helped. The staff was nice too - I needed something for my room at one point and the employee there was quickly helpful (I didn't get his name). It was by far the nicest of the budget friendly hotels in the area, and a great spot if you're adventuring Eureka, Arcata and Trinidad like I was."

"Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process."
