i like the modern design and all but it is overdone.

I liked that, although the property has been around for a while, the rooms appeared to have been fairly recently remodeled, and the entire property is matained well. The pool area looked very nice, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety of breakfast items and set in a comfortable atmosphere. The gals working the front desk were quite pleasant. We were in town for a family memorial for just a couple of days and this property was in a great location for that, and we were within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. We had a drink at the Bourbon Steak restaurant down the street, which was very nice, but VERY pricey. We ate dinner at the Italian restaurant at The Americana at the Grand, but we will not go back there as we paid $40 for two rib eye steak dinners that were terrrible, and the service was bad. Otherwise, it was a good trip, and we will come back to the Xilo.

The back room door was hard to close and after taking a shower there was a pool of water on the floor near the sink. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Glad they had coffee every day.

Safety is a concern, somebody has been knocking on our door at 11pm (we’re already asleep!). They charged us a parking fee which is not stated in your website. So disappointed!

After first reserving a room through 'Hotels.com' I found a better deal with 'Orbitz' (for the same Hotel/ room). I cancelled the reservation with 'Hotels.com'--online. And I called 'Hotels.com' to confirm the cancellation. On the day and time of check-in at Hotel Xilo, the hotel claimed (told my father) that Orbitz had also called them and cancelled my reservation. This is of course nonsense! My father paid the walking-rate for two nights for a room at Hotel Xilo. After two days of speaking to the hotel management and 'Orbitz' (over the phone), I surmise that Hotel Xilo is at fault. They must have cancelled both reservations because they referenced my reservation by my father's name and not by the confirmation number. It seems to me that they are not honest.

It simple and clean and has a microwave and fridge!

The staffs are friendly! Clean room. I like it a lot😘

The Good: Location was perfect. The room was modern, clean* and spacious. The Bad: the scented fragrance they use is overpowering and thus makes you question is it a managerial preference or a coverup of something else. The air conditioner didn’t work, hardly any airflow and the temperature never got below 72, so even though your nostrils “adjusted” to the scent, the ideal sleep temperature was never achieved. If this place fixed these two fixable things, this place would be a 5 star location.

Love the design choices and staff. In a great area by food and other extracurricular activities. Only issues were creakiness of furniture/room in 2nd floor room.

This property should be rated low budget motel. The price point is clearly outrageous considering the quality of the rooms. Super thin walls, very aged facility and amenities. The location is close to shopping and dining so that is the only positive.

I’d say things were decent for the most of my stay until about 5am. Someone either maintenance or house keeping made non stop noise from 5-7 am. Truly unacceptable! Secondly which isn’t a big deal, but you think you have fixed, the towel hook which was shoved into the wall, that some other guest had broke off. Think attention to details and maybe start making loud noise after 7 am would be acceptable. Won’t ever be staying here again.

False advertising: it's an outdoor inn/motel, not a hotel. Adequate for any inexpensive last minute reservation option in a less than pristine area near the airport. Arrived after late flight. Plus for visible and active security posted in parking lot. Odd piles of mats lying in several parking spots and odd smell in room. Got rest up until a boistrous gal into rough stuff with her partner got too loud at 2am. Breakfast was pretty decent.

Well designed and beautiful bathroom. A little noisy and the dispensers in the bathroom were a bit stingy. Please supply a night light for the bathroom. Breakfast was really good!

Free hot breakfast. Rooms face the street and you hear lots of traffic noise.

Very clean and comfortable room, shower was amazing, and bedding was so comfortable

I do apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this caused you, but rest assured, none of it came out of dishonesty. As was explained to you previously at the front desk, a prepaid reservation can only be cancelled with direct authorization from the third party booking source, which was given over the phone, and the details of the virtual card were confirmed to verify the cancellation. We did our due diligence and acted in good faith.
