I really don't care about the run down aspect of the hotel, some might find it charming. However safety is a big concern. The concierge leaves at 8 pm and no one is there at night. The front door is always open for anyone to come in as they please. This morning I had an early meeting and when I left there was a homeless guy sleeping in the lobby. Yesterday night someone tried to violently open the door to my room. When I shouted they left but knowing that there was no one in the hotel kept me awake for the rest of the night. I do not recommend this hotel to women travelling alone.
It was so convenient to everything friendly staff very helpful easy parking great area but the room was a little run down could use new curtains and a new lamp shade but okay for the price and i would stay agin
What a great hotel in Beverly Hills! Smaller older property. Wish we had better coffee service in the morning but you can't beat the location of the staff!
I went to check in and nobody was at front desk. I waited more than 30 min. And i left. I lost this reservation.
Very nice place and gracious stuff. Highly recommended.
Hotel was ok. Some of the other guest were stranger. Overall it was a good experience
Only good thing is the location as everything else is old and outdated.
About the only thing I liked was the Smoking Area.
This hotel is a reasonable priced gem in the middle of Beverly Hills. It is an older hotel with some upgrades and a historic feel. The area is very walk-able to some very nice restaurants. I found my stay pleasant and will stay again.
Fun to sit outside and enjoy the people who stay there. Markus was a very pleasant employee and I liked to see the people who come in and out of the place.
If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills, this qualifies. The hotel is pretty cool, although very dated. It is evident that the rooms get very little maintenance other than clean sheets and bathroom cleanings. If you’re expecting a “nice” place to stay, you may be disappointed, but it worked perfectly for a cheap place to sleep.
Excellent location in Beverly Hills. The room bath and shower didn't work well. Cleanliness was so-so. Staff didn't help with luggage and no elevator.
I liked this hotel a lot. My room was clean and quiet, and WiFi worked well even though the staff said it might not. The place has the feel of a special, old hotel with a Spanish influence. Not everyone would like it however. My room does not have a private bathroom. The shared bathroom is across the hall. A microwave and refrigerator are available in a shared kitchen. The place isn't big, so I never had to wait for bathroom or kitchen use. There is no air conditioning. Most of the year this is not a problem, but on very hot summer days it would be. The room has a powerful ceiling fan. With open windows, that kept me comfortable.
