Farmer's Daughter

The hotel was clean and seemed brand new. Our room was very comfortable, but it looked out over the courtyard - which was often quite loud. With the window closed, there was no noise. But visiting from New York, we would have preferred to enjoy some outside air.

I would not recommend this hotel if you have children. This is a very nice and modern hotel - some rooms are almost as small as a motel room so I don't see how you could have your family staying here really

We were so impressed with this funky little hotel. It was perfectly located by The Grove and Farmers Market. The breakfast was delicious and the outside bar area was very relaxing. What made it so eclectic was that they turned a boring "motel" into an interesting, comfortable hotel. Loved it, and will definitely be returning.

Good location, seemed very safe. Farmers Market and The Grove right across the street.

Farmers Daughter was in a heat location located right across from Farmers Market and The Grove. We really enjoyed their restaurant Tart

I was supposed to stay in a one bedroom that I rent in airbnb but the place was dirty and not has described . So I book this on a last minute ... amazing move !

My wife and I love this little hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are beautifully remodeled, the restaurant has amazing food and drinks, and the location is pretty central (for LA :P)

Was pleasantly surprised. I thought the place would be a little divey but it's really transformed into a fun, hipster spot with great access to everything. You could hear a little bit of noise through walls, and there were a couple cigarette butts floating in the pool (that happens) but overall it was ideal, and we would definitely return.

Really enjoyed the location. Loved the whiskey tasting and cookies! Lots of close shops within walking distance!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quirky in design and bed was comfortable. I loved how unique the entire property was and I was sad when I had to leave, wish I had stayed another day or two! Be prepared for a unique, kitschy experience. This isn't a ritzy hotel but it's so much more fun. Such a great find.

We stayed at Farmer's Daughter Hotel over the Labor day weekend & loved it! The room was clean and comfortable and the location was great, in walking distance to The Grove. We'd definitely stay here again. It's a great hotel and affordable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute hotel! Lots of neat added touches! Very nice staff!

While this is not a "fancy" hotel, it was very clean and the service was super. The restaurant has good food and the atmosphere was great. The location was across from the Farmer's Market with plenty to do. I would stay again

I requested in advance with the front desk and the manager of the hotel to have my 1 room ready for early check in at 1pm. There check out time is 11am. They told me they couldn't guarantee it but they would try. Well they didn't try - I got there and they told me the room wouldn't be ready until 3pm - the normal check in time. Your telling me with your entire staff you couldn't get one room ready in the 2 hours between check out and my arrival time? That is absurd! And further more they were completely non-apologetic about it. There are too many Hotels in LA to waste your time dealing with the staff at this one.

First and formost, the staff was acceptional. So friendly, helpfull, especially the Blond women with the big blue eyes working the front desk. Just so sweet. I loved the complementary "whiskey" tasting each night in the lobby which had a really cool, funky vibe to it. The design of the room was really fun and very large and spacious. I have only two negatives....NO place to put your clothes( chest of draws) and more importantly the shower pressure was non existant. I mention this to the front desk and was told they are working on renovating the bathrooms whihc was evident by the sign in the lobby allerting guest of the construction. great location

This is my 2nd stay & Farmers Daughter. There will be a 3rd stay. Great food, cute atmosphere, great location!

The hotel tries hard to sell itself as a destination hotel, especially with a marketing tag line “do it at the daughter, “but Let’s be honest it’s just a spruced up old motor lodge with sub-par amenities [by any LA-Standards] that just happens to be attached to a restaurant (Tart) which has the best mac n cheese on the planet.

Stayed 3/14/14 and really enjoyed the ambience and unique styling of the place . The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable , TV ,DVD player and fridge in room . The restaurant (Tart) does some really beautiful and reasonably priced food . The location is unbeatable with all places of interest easily accessible , with the Farmers Market & The Grove literally outside the front door . All the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you . Will definitely be back .

We had tickets to a show at the CBS studio which is right across the street. Also across the street is the farmers market and The Grove shopping centers and restaurants. Location was perfect for what we were doing. About 1 mile away in the opposite direction were Nordstrom and Macy's and other restaurants which were all nice, too. Hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. This is a motel, to be correct but it has been remodeled and has a southern theme which was cute and charming. The room and bathroom were clean, but the fridge was very small and old (it functioned well, but outdated when compared to the rest of the room), the DVD player didn't have a remote control and only had play/stop/power buttons so it was annoying to not be able to watch a season of Downton Abbey because I couldn't skip ahead but a small inconvenience. Free wifi. I would stay there again and recommend it.

This hotel was perfect. Easy access, the restaurant on site was the best. Across from the Farmers Market and the Grove just up the street. Will definitely stay here again and again.
