Farmer's Daughter

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The room was nicely furnished, the ice machine was nearby, the cold drinks were near, and the room was away from the elevator as we requested.

My daughter and I spent two days at Farmer's Daughter hotel during our recent girls trip to LA. The hotel was quite nice, the beds were comfortable, the nespresso coffee maker in the room was a pleasant surprise, the restaurant "Tart" was great and we had some nice meals there, the hotel location was perfect. We would definitely come back and plan to do so. Our experience was a good one!

I waited 30 minutes to get checked in, while other guests who arrived after I did got checked in right away. I was assigned a room for a disabled person (I am certainly NOT disabled in any way). I had booked a Tack Single King. This disabled room lacked the charm and warmth that I had experienced in other rooms in which I had stayed. I have gone to this hotel for many years as my son lives in the neighborhood. Good news - they offered a free yoga class for an hour in the morning. They also offered a free whiskey tasting for an hour in the early evening. I don't like whiskey but my son does so they let him try out the local selection they had. The breakfast in the Tart room was very good. They use the fresh vegetables found in The Farmer's Market across the street from the hotel. All in all I like this hotel. I just hope on future stays they will check me in on time and assign me a regular room, not a room for a disabled person.

Our only complain is that we were surprised to have a $24. Fee Each time we used the valet. It was probably posted somewhere, but should have been explained when we arrived.

Great staff. Very accomodating. Clean. Only issue was pillows. A bit too high to my taste. Overall a great, welcoming spot.

The lobby was nice and staff okay. The outside looked like a cheap motel. The cement floors in the room were weird, they were not polished and were cracking in the corners. Does not seem like anyone cleaned the floors or the couple of carpets by the bed. Lots of hair in the beds. Looked like there was mold on the shower's ceiling. Best thing about the hotel was Tart the restaurant and free bikes.

My stay was fine but I'm probably not the best person to review this hotel. It was raining heavily in Los Angeles while I was there and thus was unable to enjoy the grounds and I was out so much that I didn't take advantage of any of the amenities in the room.

Stayed here whilst attending a live taping at CBS studios. Perfect location directly across the street from CBS, the Farmer’s Market and The Grove shopping center! The decor is interesting with cement floors, vintage photos and nicknacks on display. The lavatory was ultra-modern Euro style and the best of all, a Nespresso machine! Wow! Comfortable beds, large flat screen TV with loads of channels including HBO. Complimentary Whiskey shots in lobby every night was a great treat! Lots of ambience here but unfortunately we couldn’t partake in outdoor activities as it was pouring rain during the entire stay. Otherwise we’d have been sitting outside at one of the many beautiful searing areas or playing foosball! Lovely onsite restaurant Tart, served top notch breakfast. front desk staff cool, friendly and fun. Really enjoyed Farmer’s Daughter and recommend to all interested in the Beverly Fairfax district.

Great decor, great staff. Will definitely stay again.

The location is very good. Right next to grove shopping center, there are good restaurants nearby. The lobby and restaurant in the hotel is very good. The employees are very friendly.Park lot is big enough. The room has basic decoration. But it is neat and comfortable.

The hotel was clean and seemed brand new. Our room was very comfortable, but it looked out over the courtyard - which was often quite loud. With the window closed, there was no noise. But visiting from New York, we would have preferred to enjoy some outside air.

I would not recommend this hotel if you have children. This is a very nice and modern hotel - some rooms are almost as small as a motel room so I don't see how you could have your family staying here really

We were so impressed with this funky little hotel. It was perfectly located by The Grove and Farmers Market. The breakfast was delicious and the outside bar area was very relaxing. What made it so eclectic was that they turned a boring "motel" into an interesting, comfortable hotel. Loved it, and will definitely be returning.

Good location, seemed very safe. Farmers Market and The Grove right across the street.

Farmers Daughter was in a heat location located right across from Farmers Market and The Grove. We really enjoyed their restaurant Tart

I was supposed to stay in a one bedroom that I rent in airbnb but the place was dirty and not has described . So I book this on a last minute ... amazing move !

My wife and I love this little hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are beautifully remodeled, the restaurant has amazing food and drinks, and the location is pretty central (for LA :P)

Was pleasantly surprised. I thought the place would be a little divey but it's really transformed into a fun, hipster spot with great access to everything. You could hear a little bit of noise through walls, and there were a couple cigarette butts floating in the pool (that happens) but overall it was ideal, and we would definitely return.

Really enjoyed the location. Loved the whiskey tasting and cookies! Lots of close shops within walking distance!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quirky in design and bed was comfortable. I loved how unique the entire property was and I was sad when I had to leave, wish I had stayed another day or two! Be prepared for a unique, kitschy experience. This isn't a ritzy hotel but it's so much more fun. Such a great find.
