This is a great hotel with a breezy nice vibe. It's open and airy, the staff is very nice, and the rooms are clean and relaxing. I love to walk all over Beverly Hills from this hotel. There is a grocery store down the street that has a great deli and quality food. This will be a regular place for me moving forward.

The hotel was quiet and quaint. Nicely appointed rooms and firm but comfortable bed. We were in a small suite and would have liked a coffee maker but we were able to purchase coffee in the restaurant. The restaurant was very expensive so would have liked a place a bit less pricey on site.

Staffs are friendly but there is No microwave in hotel

Valet is expensive every night Hotel smells really bad Like a fish/mint smell

Classic boutique hotel in Beverly Hills. Close to shops and tourist areas. I prefer the feel of the high end chains and I don’t know if I will stay here again, but I would recommend it for friends who enjoy the boutique/unique experience!

Love the hotel decor and location. My only complain is they charge a resort fee, and as I was in a short quick trip I couldnt use the ammenities and still the fee was charged.

Great staff...good vibe at the hotel. Location is good to walk around and see the neighborhood and local shops

Enjoyed the stay there were a couple of issues though. I was there prior to 3pm check in, turned out though my room had been ready long before but they didn't realize it due to a computer issue. I waited by the pool for 2 hours. Also the inroom iPad was missing and the room phone's ringer didn't work.

The hospitality exhibited by staffers was exceptional on my arrival and my departure!!! The room was clean, very comfortable and quiet which I appreciated very much. Thank you!!!

Superb experience, great location.... I've been returning annually since I first visited the Avalon 10-years ago.

The staff was absolutely impeccable. This was the only thing that made the stay worth Wild. Everything in the room was falling apart, the doors on the cabinets were falling apart.

A very simple hotel that does everything right with what it has.

We loved the art Dec o in the entrance way. did not like the alley situation had to go thru an alley to get to the room. Rooms very clean, view terrible looking into the alley. roll away bed very uncomfortable. They like to over charge for everything, $7.00 for coffee at bar in morning no coffee available in room?

I had stayed at this hotel a number of years ago and liked it then. But it's been refreshed and expanded since then and really loved it this time. Great location, accommodating service and cool ambiance. You are made to feel welcome. My only gripe: you are slapped with an amenities fee that I was unaware of at booking. It's not much in the scheme of things and I would have stayed there anyway, but it's odd that it's a separate charge and kind of not cool to be surprised. But I love the place and will go back.

We were very disappointment at our visit to the Avalon in Beverly Hills. Definitely overpriced. This hotel is more like a 2.5 star motel. You pay for location - it's just a few blocks from Wilshire and Rodeo. The pool and lobby area is nice. But room itself - very outdated. Caution Extra Charges! When we arrived we pulled into the drive and was greeted by the valet. He told us that valet parking is $35. The next morning when we checked out we were surprised to see a $40 parking charge instead. We also were charged a $15 amenity fee, which was not mentioned anywhere. We unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

Stayed December 2014 for 1 night. Efficient and courteous check-in, guided me to the room in another building. Room itself - very outdated, 90's style. Had to call for a technician to check on it - repaired in my absence, but all equipment is rather old.

I gave 3/5 for the overall rating mostly because of the price. They charge you $31.00 for parking as well. The room didnt have anything too special but I could see that they hace renovated their rooms. Looks clean and mkre modern.

The layout and design of the property was great. However, I was expecting a room by the pool but was given a room across an alley way beside a road where cars love to drive down fast. It was difficult to sleep at times.
