Stayed here after a day in Legoland- about 20 mins away which is handy. Lovely welcome for our little boy with his free colouring pack. The room was clean and all we needed for our stay. We did have to request an extra bed but it was dealt with quickly. Dinner was nice- the waiters were really good with our 3 year old. Breakfast had a lot of choice and again very pleasant staff. Great stay and would go again 👍🏾
Very good hotel if you visit Legoland with children Booked a twin, with double bed; the room was very clean, comfortable The staff is very friendly and helpful - great customer service Breakfast was varied and catered for everyone Short taxi ride to/from Windsor and Legoland Very happy with my stay and highly recommend
Good location for legoland Staff very friendly and welcoming on reception. It was my daughters birthday and she bought up a little brownie for her. Kids friendly too as received a welcoming colouring pack. Restaurants good choice of menu, friendly staff and the manager was very helpful in order to help me sterilise my baby's bottles. Beds comfy and room had a good view of the castle. Some rooms could do with a touch up decoration wise. Breakfast was nice with a good selection and simple. Would return if ever visiting legoland again Customer service was exceptional keep up the good work holiday inn
Great base for our weekend visiting Chessington and Legoland. I struggled to find the hotel once off M4 as sat nav thought there was a roundabout but there wasn't. Hotel looked dated externally but inside was modern, bright and friendly helpful staff. We went out for McDonald's but had drinks in the bar but the food served looked delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Shower was large and great shower experience. Only complaint was there was no room temperature control and our room was cold. Heater didn't warm up when switched on either. Also no safe to store gadgets and valuables whilst out of the room. Other than that a great hotel.
Stayed for 5 nights. Comfortable bed, especially the pillows. The hotel neighbours a busy road and planes regularly fly overhead, but this is not heard in the bedroom. Bathroom was cleaned to a high standard. I tried a pizza from the bar menu one evening. The pizza was huge and delicious. The only gripe I have is that the hot food at breakfast was often lukewarm and not very appetising, even when first served at 6.30am when the restaurant opened. Despite this, I shall return.
Had to travel to Slough for work. Not easy to find a good hotel there, that's why I ended up in this Holiday Inn. Very friendly welcome and efficient check-in. All people working for this hotel were very friendly and guest oriented. But the hotel itself and the rooms are really ugly. A big renovation is urgently needed! I had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food is almost uneatable, really very bad but the price is very expensive. I am happy that I had to stay here only one night! Wouldn't recommend to stay in this place again.
We stayed one night on my son's 6th Birthday as part of the Legoland package. I informed the hotel before we arrived that it was his Birthday. Upon arrival the staff on reception were so welcoming. They saw his Birthday badges and immediately came around the front of the desk to give him high fives and fist pumps, which he loved! Upon entering the room he was beyond excited to see that it had been decorated with streamers and banners and balloons and that kit kats and biscuits were left amongst the decorations. He then declared it the best hotel in the world!!! The room itself was nice. 2 big comfy double beds, a lovely view of Windsor Castle and a really nice new looking bathroom. We were impressed. We had had a busy day at legoland so decided the easiest thing was to eat in the hotel. We decided to eat downstairs in the bar as opposed to the restaurant, (the menu is the same for both). Downstairs is more relaxed, there was table football and some games and lots of tvs so the kids were happy to watch Britains Got Talent while they waited! The food was a bit mixed. I had a chicken burger which was unfortunately very dry, but my husband had a beef burger which he said was good and the children were quite happy with theirs. When my son ordered his pudding of fruit salad, they brought it over with a chocolate brownie and a candle and sang Happy Birthday to him. Again he was delighted! What absolutely made his day though was when he was presented with a paper bag full of chocolate bars! He was beside himself with excitement and declared it one of the best presents he had received that day! (if only I had known it was that simple!!) The bar was quiet so we retreated to some comfy chairs, watched the end of BGT and were able to comfortably relax with a few drinks at the end of a long day! The cooked breakfast the next day wasn't great. We were a little disappointed. The bacon was very fatty, with very little meat on and the rest of it just didn't taste great, but having said that there was plenty of other choices. Every single member of staff we came across was happy and smiling (and not in a fake way), they couldn't have done more. The food could have been better but really we weren't there for that...we were there to celebrate a birthday and that couldn't have been better.
I stayed here for a long weekend (Friday to Monday) with the other half and her two children. Hotel was was very clean, staff were really friendly and the restaurant served tasty meals, l'd recommend the pizza. There was a good selection for breakfast. The hotel is in an ideal location for a legoland or Windsor trip.
Excellent hotel, very accomadiating staff, food expensive. Close to legoland, 5mins. Used 5 Star Cabs. Excellent service. Rooms very clean and comfortable, very fast check in & checkout. Close to Slough but as it was easter Sunday all shops were closed. But fabulous shops around slough.
We were on a Legoland break with our grandchildren and the hotel staff could not do enough for us, even moved our rooms to be together. Good food and service. Gorgeous huge rooms very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend this hotel.
