We love this hotel but once again the meal on the first night was truly awful. No apology either. Room wasn’t clean upon checking and took an hour and half to sort. Then, I got accused of smoking in the room. I do not smoke. I stay regularly at this hotel due to my treatment at near by hospital for heart disease. I DO NOT SMOKE, yet I got accused. Awful and I’m afraid our time there is up after going there every fortnight for three nights for the last six months while I had all my hospital treatments. Sickening

A good selection of Twin Double bedded and Superior rooms to suit our needs. The Staff were excellent throughout the Hotel. The Lounge area was comfortable and the Bar had a wide selection of drinks to choose from. We ate out on the evening so cannot comment on the evening menu, however the restaurant was busy. The self serve Breakfast was very good and had a wide variety of food to suit all. The only minus points were a shabby repair to our bedroom door, the bedroom window had been screwed permanently shut instead of being repaired and the door out to the outside decking area had a loose gasket which flew about each time the door was opened. Very minor points that could easily be attended to.

I carnt complain because i got a good deal on my room i just had a few issues to adress i have asmah and the bedroom window wouldnt open i told the staff at the reception they said some of the windows dont open then i noticed the water would drain down the plug hole very slow so when taking a shower u had a puddle of water at ur feet also the buffet in the room wobbled because it foot had come off prior to my stay and the only other issue was the price of drinks i got a old mount cider it cost me 7.79 almost 8 pounds i can get 4 for a 5er in Sainsbury's like i said i got a grate deal on the room but for somone paying alot for this room it wouldnt be a grate stay for them the brakefast was grate and had a good selection the hotel looked very nice and modern the staff friendly and the place was very clean the bed and pillows was very comfortable

A nice hotel for a fair price

Very nice lake view. The room was nice and clean. The food at the restaurant was good, service was very very very slow and even forgot one of the dishes. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was very bad, no espresso machine available

I was lucky to have a side lake view it was pleasant looking at the lake. Once the building works finishes it shobe great. The building works did not impact me. I am a lady solo traveller and felt safe,everywhere is an easy walk. Breakfast was nicely presented.
