The was the most hotel-like hotel I stayed at during my trip in UK. What I mean by this is that they had everything in used to in the US. Breakfast, laundry, mini fridge, microwave, etc. The hotel is right in the middle of the city centre so I had no reason to take trains, taxis or buses. But if you really wanted to you could as the entrance to the metro is right in front of the hotel. Restaurants, bars, pubs, convenience stores and shops are all walking distance. Finally, the staff were great at making us feel welcomed and provided us recommendations for our travels and where to watch the MerseySide Derby! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool.
