Stayed here sat the 18th of feb, room quite small but very nice and clean , bathrooms nice but a bit old fashioned, all in all very nice would come again, parking next door £11 for 24 hours, 5 minute walk in to town.
Great experience very comfortable smart public areas A good nights sleep Good variety for breakfast Tidy warm rooms and corridors Good decor throughout Great location for history dining out and attractions
The hotel is one of the most welcoming places to stay we have come across in a long time. All the staff are very friendly and professional. Our daughter bought the wowcher deal as a Xmas. The wording in bold headlines said that the deal is for two people for one night and a three course meal for two at Las Iguanas. Yet when we rang up to book, we are told by Superbreak, that we have to pay again for another voucher. Doubling the original cost to £139.98. Our daughter was very upset and felt that she had let us down. According to the voucher, the full cost should be £161.40 each totaling £322.80. Had we booked the same directly with Jurys Inn and the restaurant, the total would have been £118 (£88 for the hotel and £30 for the meal). Having looked at the website of wowcher, there are a number of different types of deals that are very ambiguous in their wording. It is about time that customers of these types of web businesses are put first and not left feeling ripped off. Once again, the hotel and restaurant were very helpful and we would be happy to stay there again, making the booking ourselves.
We returned to jury's as our 1st visit was excellent not so this time we asked for a view of the wheel we were given a corner room at the end of the corridor avoid these rooms they are an L shape very long and narrow and broader at the bottom were the bed was also avery long walk to the lifts we were on the 4th floor breakfast was also disappointing I decided to have porridge it was cold yuk I then tried the cooked breakfast this was also just luke warm such a difference from last time .We ate in the restaurant on valentine's night they had to set up a table for us we ordered a bottle of wine which was set down on the table and we're asked would we like a wine cooler to which we replied yes and could we have water for the table the water arrived but without glasses the waitress rushed off still no wine cooler the meal arrived we asked again for glasses and the wine cooler success at last we had the rib eye steak which was delicious when we went to pay by cash the waitress had some difficulty in understanding the money another girl came over to assist
Very happy with my two night stay at the Jurys Inn. In a good position away from the noise of town yet not too far to walk there. Great to be able to park on level one of Waterfront car park and have a short level walk to hotel. Nice and clean, good sized comfortable room and bed.
Great stay here at jury's inn, loved the rooms and loved the coffee served in the bar area. Room we're comfortable and service was very friendly from all of the staff who were working during my stay s
We stayed at the Jury's inn Liverpool from Monday to Wednesday morning. I am fairly picky but failed to find fault with this rather friendly hotel. A wonderfully situated hotel, close to bars, museums, docks and shops. The Albert Docks host a wealth of eateries to cater to every taste. We were greeted by warm and smiling reception staff who checked us in 10 mins before the official time. It was quick and easy. Walking to the room on the remarkably soft and springy carpets, the staff from house keeping said "hello" and "sorry" for obstructing our progress (which they weren't), but the were charming nonetheless. The room was compact, without being cluttered. Clean, tidy with all the usual things in place (iron + board, kettle, tea, coffee, suitcase stand, you get the idea). The bed was firm but comfortable with very clean and soft white linen. The shower took a while to get hot and my first one I noted that the head had a power setting. When I picked myself up off the bath floor I enjoyed what could only be described as one of the most invigorating showers ever. The sort of experience you would expect from a Caribbean water fall or maybe riot control hose. Service can be resumed with a simple twist of the head. If I had a small grumble it was that the "door closure springs" could be a little softer. Banging doors were noticeable. Furthermore the room that we had was in the corner, slightly unusual shape and the window in the corner gave little natural light, but a decent view if you stood looking out. This may work as an advantage if you are there to get stuck into the nightlife and do not require early morning sun beams. Not the fault of the hotel, and I hardly likely to look up the architect who planned it.......so a non problem really. We didn't sample the breakfast, but a quick bar snack was pleasant. Quick, easy and tasty. There was a small jug of citrus water, which was very cleansing. I would have liked to see some availability of small snacks, crisps nuts, soft drinks and chocolate. I would have paid for large bottles of water, as gulping back the small glasses of bathroom fresh tap water became tedious. Overall then a fantastic hotel, considering something like 300 rooms, was friendly, personal and good value. I would stay again at this faultless city hotel.
Excellent position of hotel near to Albert Docks Arena and shopping area very well lit and a safe feeling to go out at night lots of eating places nearby Gusto restaurant was especially good and staff were really friendly
I recently visited Liverpool to see the Might Reds at Anfield, taking my kids for their first visit, and booked into the Jury's Inn after a horrible booking experience with Agoda (never, ever book with those crooks, I have had 100% bad experiences that have cost me a fortune). I have stayed at Jury's Inn before but not in Liverpool. The hotel is situated in the Keel Wharf part of the Dock area. It is very convenient to a host of attractions on Dockside, particularly in and around the Albert Dock, the Beatles experience and so on. The first thing to note is that we were on a tight schedule traveling overnight from the US and when we arrived at the hotel early just to drop our bags the staff were more than helpful and let us check in at 9.30AM. The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms spotless and comfortable and the beds are luxurious for the price. There is a decent bar downstairs, good for a late night drink and the breakfast buffet is plentiful and runs until Noon-super for jet lagged travelers. I had a 16 year old and 12 year old with me and they were fine in the hotel. There aren't many amenities for a young family but if you want a cozy place near to just about anything in the center of the city, this is a terrific bet. I will definitely stay here again.
Visited this venue twice in the one day. My business associate was staying there. We had a lunch time drink and bite to eat at the bar. Service was slow and the food was very average with stale bread and a very dry sandwich. There was quite a bit of confusion over the bill. We returned for dinner and things were even worse. I ordered the rump steak - don't think I'be ever had tougher meat. I told the wait staff and (to be fair) they did refund and offer the option of something else, which I declined. We asked for bread with our meal and had to remind the waitress several times - when it arrived it was normal sliced bread! Courses arrived at differing times and the staff seem inexperienced or poorly trained.
