Could be better!

This is our honest review of our 1 night stay at this hotel. Positives for us:- good location in Albert Docks, modern reception & bar/restaurant area, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Negatives in our experience:- dated rooms, old & grubby bathroom, stained & dirty carpets (we had to change rooms from the 1st room given as it was so bad I couldn’t let my daughter walk on it without shoes-2nd room although still heavily stained in parts was better), dirty mugs (1st room), brown marks on nets (2nd room), old air conditioning units that you couldn’t leave on throughout night because it was so loud! It was a shame about the rooms as the hotel could be so much more than just a nice bar area - it has so much potential but needs updating. Unfortunately until this happens we wont be returning.

The hotel itself was ok staff were friendly room was clean and tidy but the toilet sink and bath were stained the non slip part in bath was dirty looking inside toilet urine stained and around plug hole in sink dirty i only had breakfast it was eatable but bland the bar area was nice and drinks reasonably priced car parking is a 2 minute walk from hotel and cost 18 pounds for an overnight stay

Never stayed here before but it is a perfect spot to stay in Liverpool. Situated by the docks, right next to the M&S Arena, walking distance to the town etc.. Rooms were clean and staff were accommodating. I asked for a room with a view of the Liverpool wheel and docks only a few days before and this was accommodated. Never ate at the hotel so can’t comment but overall a lovely stay and would definitely return.

Leanardo Liverpool 3 night stay.

This hotel has a great location. However the room had a small double bed, the matress was not great quality causing my partner to have a bad back. The carpet was stained in several areas. The room looked tired. The reception areas was fine & above all the staff were friendly. Had breakfast on our last day, split food not swept up, sticky floor. Food quality below average. With an hour to go a people still coming in for breakfast, when we asked for croissants told they had run out. I have stayed at Leanardo hotels before in London & these have been great. This Liverpool Leanardo is very basic & appears not to be as good as the Jurys Inn under previous ownership. We will not stay there again, the Pullman hotel we have stayed in before is in a different league & & only slightly more expensive.

Fanatics hotel

So easy to get to no matter how you get there car , bus ect the hotel smelt amazing all staff very friendly and very helpful lovely clean hotel great food . Nice area outside to sit very close to the docks 3-5mins , and Liverpool one lots to do around the area boat rides and tour buses … lots of cafes and shops and bars will definitely stay here again

The staff were great. Especially the lady called Eni at the reception was very kind and helpful. Car park is a bit away so you need to walk for 5 min, and not cheep.

Great hotel in a lovely area close to the arena at the docks so very handy for the town centre and all the docks attractions. The only faults were that some of the stairwell carpets were rather worn and scruffy and the hotel staff need to ensure that everything g in the room (TV and air conditioning ) work correctly. I would stay again - room was lovely, bars very clean and helpful friendly staff

Very warm and friendly Hotel very welcoming .

We had a lovely time staying yet again at the Leonardo whilst we attend a Convention at the M&S bank Arena. The staff are amazing and so very friendly and obliging. Comfortable and clean, lovely breakfast.
