I stayed here a couple of nights. I choose the hotel due to parking and being easily accessible through the Marques de Pombal square, whether we were driving from the north or the south. The hotel was clean and we have a good night sleep. Parking was secure and 9€ a night. We have a day travel to Cascais and we were in an out of the city in minutes by car via the Marques de Pombal. We didnt use the metro, taxis o buses as the hotel was not far from the main street of Lisbon and the Bairro alto. If you going to the south of the city it was about 35 minutes walk so was not too bad. You can stop in any of the numerous terrazas across the main street to rest your feet at night. The hotel was comfortable and clean, We dint hear any noise and we have a good night sleep. I will book back if I am staying in Lisbon, good price.
I stayed here for 3 nights. A surprise trip from my Portuguese boyfriend for my birthday. The hotel is in a great location. Few minutes walk to the city and transportation. The staff are all lovely and spoke perfect English. The room was very clean. I carried out a thorough inspection (I'm Ex military lol). The breakfast was excellent. No faults here. The downside to this hotel was that my boyfriend and I had asked for an iron. We were told that all the irons were out. We stressed that we urgently needed one, as w had an event to attend. We were informed that they charge €10 for the iron and usually the guests would hand in the iron on their 'check-out'. I did suggest that if they only had a few irons they should inform guests to bring it back within an hour........or ....have enough irons for every room👀.
It is an administration of a hotel that shows no judgment. Our flight was canceled due to the unfavorable weather in Toronto and the administration refused to cancel our reservation and charged us the full rate. In a respectable hotel, this kind of cancellation is possible. I do not recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for a week: good location not far from Marquez de Pombal and supermarket/restaurant/bus stops. Hotel staff were very helpful and room was good size- air conditioning worked well (not too loud at night as was especially hot when we visited!) Well priced hotel and breakfast good selection of food. Would recommend!
A well positioned hotel for visiting Lisbon. Easy to reach by metro getting off at Marquez de Pombal station on the blue, azul line. You can buy a 1 day 24 hour pass which gets you on bus, tram and metro. Don't throw ticket away as you can add extra journeys for 1.45 per journey. Hotel rooms are clean with toiletries, kettle and fridge. Coffee and milk are not provided but you can buy from reception for 1 Euro. There is a small supermarket close by for essentials. Hotel Staff very helpful and friendly.
We visited Lisbon with a group of friends and attached are some shots of an average hotel room where the welcome was warm and polite. The room was clean and had all you need for a couple of days. Going from the Airport to the hotel was easy by subway for a cheap price. The hotel is definitely not FOUR stars, however it did well for 3 stars. Obviously priced at the higher category. What made this hotel nice, was the location which was close to the Marques de Pombal square and Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon. A 10 min walk - please take GOOD shoes to walk anywhere in Lisbon- to the Marques de Pombal will offer nice pastry cafes and the central hub for sightseeing buses to various directions of the city. Although I liked the quiet -dated- room with working airconditioning, I am not sure to recommend, let alone unsure if I will stay with them again. Reason is that the room is priced higher than what the hotel rating is for four stars in Europe, even on their corporate website... Bom dia!
On our 15th honeymoon anniversary I tried to surprise my wife with a new European trip. I chose Lisbon and a "4 stars" hotel: 3K Madrid. In my opinion the rank of the hotel is max 3 stars. It was clean but everything was old inside. A lot of noises are coming from the other rooms. ( tinny walls - I heard every attempt of making children of my neighbors). Parking available for 9 euro/ day.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They kindly printed out my boarding pass. The hotel is walking distance from the metro and the hop on hop off bus. There was a lot of lint on the sheets the first night and I asked them to change the sheets. They were fine after that. I took the train from Faro to Lisbon and got an excellent price of 17 euros for a first class ticket.
Good location, 5 min walking distance to Praca Pombal. Clean rooms. Quiet area. Breakfast is Ok. Staff is generally friendly. Only downside is some people might not like walking the slight ramp in the street leading to the Hotel. All in all very good and excellent value for money.
Rated 4 star. Not very good.Rooms ok .Premier inn in the uk. Would lose this Hotel for good standards .Breakfast first day poor.Coffee terrible in Portugal ???.Local cafe around the corner a great cup of coffee. Not a very good hotel but I will say this .The Staff where fabulous helpful friendly and all spoke English.Lovely people. This sub standard Hotel are very lucky to have such great staff.I am going back to Lisbon shortly as my Goddaughter is a lawyer working there.I will certainly not be staying at Hotel 3 k Madrid Lisbon that is for sure.Sad in life you win some you lose some.I can spend my money in far better hotels than 3 k Madrid Lisbon.I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone.
