Our first impression is with reception. When we asked for a taxi in the evening, reception phoned for one, but never came back to us that it is not coming! And the man who told me that, was not apologetic for it. They are dealing only with one taxi company we were told! And frankly reception did not care! We walked eventually to our restaurant, it took 35 minutes, leaving a real bad taste in our mouths for this service at reception! In the room, there is only tea and sugar with the kettle, no coffee! We phoned twice to reception to have coffee! Tissues in the bathroom, only one tissue left! It shows that housekeeping is not checking up on things. Bathrooms need updating. Now the breakfast. It was chaos. No knives and forks and napkin at most tables. Lots of waiters walking around, no one takes responsibility about things. Scrambled eggs finished, bacon finished, the 'Nespresso' machine, one of them out of order, people standing in line. It has to do with the layout of the breakfast room, so many people walking around at the same place! Then parking is small, if you bring your own car, bring a small one!! We will not go there again.
We stayed there for one night, really big room with big bed. Very clean, good wi-fi. We had a buffet style breakfast in price, very nice, fresh and high quality products. Staff was amazing and really helped us with everything needed. If you use hotel's car park, be very confident driver, it is both way system, so if you go up to the exit, you can meet another car and the drive ways are really narrow. You can see scratches on the corners ;) Otherwise very good hotel with nothing to wrong.
The front desk staff was polite and professional. Our room was very comfortable. We chose two twins together so we had a wonderfully restful sleep with lots of room. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Super clean room. Quiet hotel. Bathroom had all the amenities anyone could need. Hairdryer worked very well. Breakfast really stood out. Their were urns of coffee, hot milk, and hot chocolate, a Nespresso pod machine, several types of fresh juices, even had sparkling wine to make Mimosas, hot food, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, pastries of all kinds, jams of all kinds. It was a very impressive spread! I would stay here again no doubt.
The hotel is good, well located and nice breakfast. BUT, the staff at reception is very rude and unprofessional, and we dealt with the morning and afternoon shifts. They tried to cheat us a couple of times, lying about the package and conditions we booked. We were even witness of a complaint of other guests that had something taken from their rooms. It’s really a pity because they managed to transform what was definitely going to be a 4-5 star rating into this…
We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. We had everything what we needed- kettle ,small fridge ,TV ,comfortable bed ,clean towels and toiletries..Just take with you coffee that you can make in your room.Hotel provides just tea.You must keep shut your windows ,(actually very good sound isolation when it shut) because very noisy street.Be very careful when you taking shower-very slippery bath inside. Breakfast-perfect!Staff helpful and friendly.Hotel nice and modern.Very good location-5min.walk to hop off hop on station.Strongly recommend use Grey line company. We bought 4 lines for 48 hours used for 2,5 days.It gives to you opportunity to see a lot and safe time!Near hotel you have shop Pingo Doce -about 10min walk.We went to eat near hotel at Costelao Goucho. It was amazing! We found this restaurant or Grill Bar on Tripadvisor.Grilled meat was amazing and you have try different types of steak. You are here for meat not for salad!!!!The prices in Lisbon as everywhere in capitals. They have very tasty beer which cost about 2,5-3,5 euros. You can eat at restaurant and pay about 50euros for two or pay just 5 euros for kebab+chips+ small bottle of beer. When we arrived it was 26 degrees that do not forget cream for sun protection. It is very easy when you traveling on opened busies! We enjoyed in Lisbon.Very colorful and interesting place!
I loved this hotel. The staff who greeted us were smart and professional. The room, I think, was 'The Comfort' on the 2nd floor, rear. It was very quiet. The room was very nice. The bed was huge, being 2 singles joined together. There was a tea tray with integrated kettle, a variety of tea bags, but no coffee or milk. The bathroom was extremely well equipped, something I could have done with knowing about beforehand. There is good quality shower gel attached to the shower wall and Dove moisture liquid soap in a dispenser by the sink, along with little bottles of shampoo, shower gel, hard soap and shower cap. The hairdryer was good and powerful. There is a shaving point and an extendable shaving mirror with normal & magnified glass. The breakfast was impressive. Hot food: amazing scrambled eggs, bacon, mini frankfurters; a range of cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, croissants, cakes galore, different types of bread for toasting, several types of rolls, yogurt, jams. Drinks: carafe of coffee, Nescafé pod coffee machine, high quality vending machine, dispensing excellent coffee of all types and hot chocolate; tea bags both normal and a variety of fruit teas. There was even a couple of bottles of wine (one fizzy). Can't imagine how anyone can describe the breakfast as only ok.
We spent two nights here and enjoyed the location, the comfy bed and the recommendations by the helpful staff. As previously mentioned if your room faces the street it is a noisy room But I slept well. If there room was quieter I would have given it a 5. I will go back.
we stayed two nights at hf fenix urban. the room was excellent. the location is great. Breakfast was xtra ordinary. a wide variety of food and very nice service staff! Even better: the price was superb. The only negative point was the service level of the receptionist team....
We liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay. Its not too big, the breakfast buffet is ok, nd the location is gret. Opposite is the metro station "Parque" from where you can easily access the city and surroundings. The room was properly cleaned and big enough, the bathroom was with marble and everything worked with exception of the bar fridge.
The hotel is located near Europcar and near the Praque metro station, which is direct line to the Alfama area in the old Lisbon. 20 minutes in taxi from the airport, less than 20$. It is a bit far from the downtown tourist area; the metro is handy. Few good restos in the area. The room is ok except for the noisy A/C. Price is ok and includes continental breakfast et wifi.
