The bedroom is smaller than looks like. I was there for work, so I missed a small desk in the room. The bed is very comfy. The bathroom is great. Sadly, the entrance is taken by homeless and as I girl alone, I felt unsafe and avoid come back late. If u could suggest one thing is number the rooms. I was told I was on ground floor, when I arrived, there were 3 rooms, with no numbers on it, I have to try all of them until I got the one that opened with my code. The people working in the office in Lisbon are very helpful, thank you!

Zentral - aber mitten im Junkie-Point

1. Lage: zentral, aber rundherum war Baustelle. Also ab 7 Uhr morgens Presslufthämmer, Kranquietschen , Rufe ..., staubige Luft von der Sandstrahlung Wenn man auf die Gasse kam, Baustaub! 10 Schritte weiter sassen dann die Junkies auf den Stufen und schliefen sich den Rausch aus. Kein schöner Anblick. Die Polizei patrollierte immer ... 2. Die Schließanlage der Herberge war was besonderes! Dazu braucht man Geduld°!! und nachts einen guten Schlaf, denn das Meldedisplay an der Zimmerwand leuchtet bei jedem, der rein will. 3. Bauarbeiter waren im Zimmer und montierten Fußleisten, dazu haben sie all unsere Koffer und Sachen in den Bettkasten gepackt! 4. Es gab ausser dem Bett keine Möglichkeit, irgendwas abzulegen. Nur auf dem Fußboden. Es fehlte ein Nachttisch, die Beleuchtung ging nur von der Tür aus. 5. Aufhängemöglichkeit für Kleidung nur über dem Kühlschrank max. 5 Kleiderbügel. Dann war aber keine Lüftung möglich. 6. Badezimmer- minimale Abstellfläche. 7. Sauberkeit: Fremdhaare auf dem Boden (rot gefärbt) . Dafür aber stand am Bettende ein roter Putzeimer mit Wischmob (!) Hygiene???? 8. Die Lautstärke anderer Gäste war deutlich zu hören, zumal nachts in Feierlaune. 9. die Zimmertüren waren n i c h t numeriert, also versuchten die Gäste erst mal alle Türen durch , um in das eigene Zimmer zu kommen. Lästig. 10. Allgemein kann man den Aufenthalt nur ein Plus geben, die Matraze war gut und wenn auch mit Ikea -20 -grad Bettwäsche bestückt.

To start, the property was clean on the inside, bed was nice, ac worked well, and TV was a good addition. But just about everything else about the property was in poor condition or very inconvenient. You can’t use the full water pressure in the shower because the whole bathroom floor will flood with water, and the unit is very very small so there’s no space to even fully open two suitcases (if it’s not on the bed). Additionally, I was sent the wrong address several times so I was left stranded in unknown areas of Lisbon with my luggage for just about a whole day until I finally was sent the right address. When you get to the property, you have to go up a very steep hill that absolutely stinks of sewage and is swamped by homeless people. Lastly, they didn’t specify which unit # the room was in so I had to try every single door in the building until one unlocked, and they don’t tell you the WiFi without having to email first. As a whole I would not stay here again, and there are many things I wish I had known before checking in. The only thing I will say is they were quite quick with their responses when you message them.

The place is in a central location, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well, but everything else was below expectations. Walking to the building feels unsafe as you must walk through a steep ally that smell incredibly bad. Entering is difficult as you must use your phone with data, no code is given for the front door so if your phone dies or you don't have data you cannot enter the front door. Plus, half the time the unlock button wouldn't work. When we arrived we had no idea which room was ours as none of the doors were labeled, we just had to try our code on all the doors to see which one would open. The major issue was the bathroom. The shower had a terrible smell when we first arrived and it never left (like a moldy mildew smell). When you did shower, the shower would flood, creating a giant puddle in the bathroom that then flowed into the main room. Was fine to stay in for a few nights, but would not return to.

The room is small but functional and clean. Unfortunately the building and apartment door are unlocked using a link on your phone (which requires access to the internet). This did not work consistently for me (or other guests in the building) so meant it took multiple attempts to get in each time. The apartment is down a quiet alley so this was a bit disconcerting at night when I could not get into the building easily. However, the property management were quick to respond when we called or messaged with problems, so this was appreciated.

The laneway leading to property was disgusting with rubbish from bags torn open and also homeless people sleeping rough on bottom of laneway. Great position but sooo smelly getting to room. Also very very small. Couldn’t open bags unless on the bed.

Beautiful Lisbon

The location was great, but the steep walk to the unit, ~150 feet, would be difficult for someone with disabilities. The unit was clean, the washer and dryer were nice, and again, it was a great place to start our adventure.
