Impossible to communicate, strange room

Pros: it was a good rate, clean and in a good location. The room was large. Cons: I could not contact anyone. I got an email directly after booking but when trying to reply the email bounced. We never received our check-in information and couldn't contact anyone, we tried multiple numbers written on the hotel door, tried multiple email addresses and contact forms and received no reply. Finally after over an hour we got through using a different phone number. The room had some nice design elements but there were a lot of funky / non functional pieces. The sink was barely usable due to a large cabinet infront, the shower was only usable by holding the wand, a light in the living room was flickering the whole time.

Loved it! Would Stay Again

The Flats are fantastic. Everything is modern and clean. The Flat was well-equipped and it had good WiFi. Isabel and the other staff were warm, welcoming, and did a lot to make our stay a success. Location was excellent: close to things a tourist would like to see and the neighborhood was pleasant. I booked a flat facing the square because I wanted the city experience. I will admit that there was a lot of traffic on the square, well into the night. However, the windows were thick and cancelled most of the sound. However, if you are a light sleeper, you might want to book a flat that doesn't face the street. Another caveat is that there are no elevators, so you will be carrying your luggage up at least two flights of stairs. This was not an issue for me, but if you can't carry your luggage, you might want to look elsewhere. If I return to Lisbon, my first choice will be to book again at Charm Flats.

Not at all for families/ people with disabilities

After a great stay in a luxurious hotel in the Algarve, considering the price we paid for our stay here we were hugely disappointing from the word go. The good things are that it is very well located and the TV and wifi are excellent. After that it is all downhill. It is like a grey bunker, with no windows that open, all the walls are painted a dark grey, the bed is tiny in the bedroom and thank Goodness there was a sofa bed.There is an air conditioner in the bedroom which is the only source of air for the whole flat , no vents in the living area. Not good if you do not like tiny, closed spaces. There is a steep hill plus a flight of stairs to go upto from the street, no elevator in the flats. The shower leaked into the tiny bathroom so there was a flood everyday, when we complained to reception they said they 'know' about the leak! but didn't apologize or do anything about it so all the towels were used as flood barriers.It is a tiny flat and would suit a couple or younger travelers, it was horrendous for a family. The kitchen was very poorly equipped, no cooking utensils apart from one large frying pan.The gadgets and gizmos would be appreciated by a younger age group and were wasted on us as nothing really worked and the basic issue of the size and type of accommodation was the main problem. Staying here was the lowest point of our stay in the lovely city of Lisbon.

Excellent overall, Good friendly service/ managers, but a check-in later than 7pm/ weekend can cause problems? Everything was good in the building, except the stairs. The stairs care very steep, for the top 2 floors, and a struggle with the big bags. But overall 4 out of 5 on a rating.
