You might want to think twice about this property. It is quaint and old world, but a little too old world. The upkeep of the facility is in need of a whole lot of TLC. Couch is stained, furniture is starting to come apart, the back shower is about to come out of the wall, looks like mold in that shower as well. We had to do some caulking to eliminate the ants, which worked like a charm. The walls need to be painted and the shutters are a mess. You can’t keep painting over old paint. Seems like the owner just wants to keep making money and not putting any money into the facility. This could be a very unique property if they just took the time. Towels are thin as if we were staying at Motel 6. There is one wooden plank in the back bedroom that I swear you are going to fall through. I reported this to the management company and their response was the wood floors are fine, they are just old. The coffee maker is a joke, smallest Nespresso machine I’ve ever seen. Again, kitchen is in need of some real TLC. I will say the refrigerator size was a nice surprise for Europe. The location is close to the train station and many restaurants. Also beware, the Bica District, cannot be accessed by any Uber or private drivers, only taxi and commercial vehicles, it's nice because it's quiet, but....I will say we were pleasantly surprised that the washer/dryer combination worked wonderfully. We were there for 25 nights, and overall we were disappointed, but great location.
