Kawartha Lakes Vacation Packages

Great price. Small rooms. Super loud blowing fans by the window blowing the curtains way up all day and night. Too hot to turn them off. Sad evening vibes at the bar. Poorly made drinks. No water in room.

Clean, good location friendly staff

The room was very clean. There was some wear and tear on the carpets and furniture and also around the property, particularly on the roof top. Would be nice if the property had a few more amenities, like a gym or some workout equipment, for example. There is a coffee shop right next door and a short walk to the market, which was nice. Really appreciated that paper towels, hand soap (great brand too!), dish soap and other little things in the kitchen were provided in addition to the cookware and dishes. As a suggestion, a couple of bottles of water would be great so tired travels had some on arrival. The fridge and freezer were clean but smelled awful! I would suggest putting something in there to absorb odours. We checked in online but did not receive a code for the doors and our room until we spoke to someone when we got to the property. The people at the desk were very friendly. The blinds in the room were a little tricky to operate. The Roku tv was not for us. We would have preferred standard cable so we could watch live tv. The options on Roku were not great and they were playing news from the day before. We were able to stream our own Prime and Netflix, which was nice. Overall for the price and location it was very good and we would stay again.
