We had a party of 6 for our hotel stay. When we arrived and saw that the units were set up like something similar to a small cottage I was honestly worried about space. However I was surprised to find just how spacious our room actually was. We had two beds and a pull out sofa, a small kitchenette, plenty of closet space/storage, a decent sized bathroom with a large vanity area just outside, a fireplace, 2 televisions, and they even provided a few basic kitchen pieces for use. The one thing that confused me was that the light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the actual bathroom. It was pretty cool that even though there were 6 of us in this place we still had plenty of space even with all of our luggage. House keeping staff could use a bit more training. The second day of our stay one lady showed up to our room, gave us extra towels but didn't come in to see what else needed to be done. We even asked if she was going to enter to grab the trash and bring more toilet paper, but she basically just gave us towels and walked away. Other than that all in all I would highly recommend staying here. I very much enjoyed our stay and should I return to Lexington Con next year I would definitely look into rooming there again.
The units looked and felt like small cottages. Spacious and felt like home atmosphere. Big kitchen and livingroom. Other than the washroom that showed wear and tear everything else looked in great shape. Pizza night from 6 to 7.30 if you wanted.
We LOVED staying at this Residence Inn!!! We had a two bedroom two bathroom loft suite with a fireplace. Felt SO cozy - just like home! Kids and our dog (Schnauzer/Yorkie mix) loved it, too! The loft gave the kids their own space with a bathroom upstairs, too! Breakfast was hot and quite delicious: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, breakfast casserole, bagels, waffles,.cereal, fruit, coffee (with caramel syrup and multiple coffee mate flavors), juices - LOTS of options! I would HIGHLY recommend this property! We will DEFINITELY stay here when our travels bring us this way again!
Room is well equipped with full kitchen. Note it is all open in one large room. Room has some age on it, but in good repair. Everything worked except iron that was quickly replaced. Agree that rooad noise in Building 2 is high. Breakfast quality varied day to day. Below average compared to ther chains.
I stayed here for 1 night on Nov. 16, 2017 and we had 2 rooms while on a business trip. Originally they gave us 2 rooms located right next to Newton Pike Road and this was a mistake. The road noise was way too loud in building number 2. I went to front desk after 1 hour and was originally going to check out and go some place else but Keyana was working the front desk and moved us to building 9 and 10 way in the back where it was nice and quiet. She had told me that those rooms near the road are extremely loud and they always have noise problems and couldn't understand why the gal who checked us in put us there in the first place when the hotel was less than half full? At any rate we did have a good night sleep. The breakfast choices in the morning are a bit limited but enough variety to get you going. I think next time we will stay at the Residence Inn over by the airport as its closer to where our business meeting was.
We recently stayed at this property for 4 nights, while in town for a horse sale. The junior suite I stayed in, #113, which was close to the highway, was quiet & cozy. The bedding was really comfortable & I was happy to heat the room up in 5 minutes, after being out in the cold weather all day. The fireplace looked tempting, with logs available at front office. Breakfast was fairly typical & I was very surprised it was served on the 2nd floor. A few elders had trouble with the stairs. The outdoor patio/pool/tennis area looks good, centered inside of the different clusters of townhouse type buildings. Would definitely stay here again.
Was upgraded to a suite, which seemed cool until I realized that the tub was clogged badly in one bathroom, so I had to switch everything to the other. Mystery stains on carpeting that seemed to be perpetually wet and bathroom elements that were cracked and I repaired. The breakfast was very legitimate, though! Overall, not worth the price paid, but not horrible.
We stayed here for about 4 weeks while we were transitioning to the area. The rooms are set up as small apartments. The room we had was 2 bedroom and 2 bath with a small kitchenette and living room. The stove/oven made the stay easier as we were able to fix food instead of eating out all the time. The pool and basketball court were enjoyed by our kids. They are pet friendly which helped us out a lot. Onsite laundry facilities helped also, but may have been more expensive than a laundromat. Breakfast was good each morning with decent selections that rotated daily.
This is a really good hotel. Good location.... with great staff. I Think the rooms are outdated... carpets chairs etc need some updating... Would derfinately stay there again, would just hope for other stuff to be slightly better.
I came here every year for 25 years for the Rolex three day equestrian championships at the horse Park. I haven't been back in eight years. It is even better than it was before. To my delight the same staff was there. They have added daily free breakfasts, offering hot and cold choices. There is an exercise room with treadmills and barbells . They have added a laundry facility. All this and the rooms were beautiful and clean and well-equipped. I stayed for a week, could not have asked for a better stay. Very happy.
