The hotel didn’t have a lot of bright lights or artwork, it made the stay feel like you’re in a dungeon which is wild looking at the surroundings outside. The bed was comfortable and rooms were clean but as some reviews said -the a/c was frustrating to deal with. There was a musty smell so we bought febreeze at safelight-really wish there were fans, the room felt dark and musty. I just felt this wasn’t an inviting place, seemed more like booking a hostile versus a hotel. Just know this is bare minimum , a place to come and sleep versus a retreat to relax after exploring the town. No one seemed to really smile. I read how some people paid over $100 per night and it wouldn’t be worth that to me. The ice bucket is (no joke) the height of a soda can.. I know because I took a picture to measure. The breakfast is nice to have but again, the area is not inviting. I honestly think some new lights, paint or art can really help. There’s potential here.
