The room was marginally OK but the staff was most unhelpful. We arrived a little after noon and were told check in was at 3. We said we understood that but had just gotten a cab ride here from the airport and would like to stash our luggage until check in. We were told they couldn't do that. So we had to arrange for another ride to find something to do with our luggage, The breakfast was a bad joke, the waffle maker was broken and we were told they knew about that but were waiting to get replaced. People were getting burned by the machine and got not so much as an apology. Better to sleep in the parking lot.

Better off camping

Check in… slow. Bed… sucks. Three pathetic pillows on the bed. Smoke detector in hallway has low battery and chirping all night. Parking lot facing window doesn’t have adequate curtains to block light. Oh yea and this place price gouges. Paid $300 for one night because of the Leadville Marathons event occurring this weekend.

Literally waited in line 35 minutes to check-in. The man at the desk was not efficient and typed information into the computer one letter at a time. The parking lot is run down, no lines for parking spaces, room is dated from the 60's and the towels are very thin.

Old, standard hotel. Needs a lot of upgrades. Room was clean, but very outdated. All rooms say no smoking, but smelled like cigaretts in the whole place. Would NOT stay here again.

It was pretty clean and the rooms were but outside where you’re supposed to walk your dog and stuff there was lots of trash, not very clean bathrooms no designated handicap rails or anything in the bathtub. The breakfast was really good, but there are things I could approve on. And I think they would do much better if they would improve on a few things.

First off, this hotel is VASTLY cheaper than anything else nearby. So lower your expectations. That being said, the view out of the windows has the two tallest peaks in Colorado - pretty rad. It took us 45 minutes to check in - truly wondered if the single employee was mentally competent. Once in the room, it was fine! Plenty of space, TV, serviceable shower. The pillows were rather ridiculous though, they were half pillows, like the kind Hobbits might use. Overnight it was kinda loud, but the worst part was the security light shining directly into our room. Sleep was tough. But, again - it was cheap and we knew what we were in for. Breakfast was fine and decently stocked, coffee in the room was nice. Would definitely return.

Not “mountain view” as advertised when mountains on side of the building. Bed uncomfortable. Homeless guy in parking lot. You get what you pay for. Breakfast ok.

Check in was super slow, seemed as though they didn't/couldn't find reservation at first. Room was very small and only one end table, very dated, bathroom clean but very dated. Property was alright. Breakfast next day was horrible, no food really available.

No refund for error in booking

I reserved a flight on hotels.com for one night and immediately realized i had booked the wrong date. Within one minute i cancelled it and booked the proper date and was not refunded. I have sent multiple messages to the hotel and have received zero response. This is not acceptable. We would stay there many times die to its location but now will find an alternative hotel. Highly disappointed in the lack of response. I would have been happy with a coucher but they do not answer me

I have stayed at this property last year and this year and both times told them I was handicapped and needed a ground floor room. Last year I got absolutely no help and they would not give me a downstairs room Norwood. They help me get my bag down there Get my bag up to my room or when I left it upstairs or get it downstairs again the staff, the gentleman who is late afternoon and evening was both last year and this year and he has absolutely no help at all. Just won’t do anything. You know if you say I’m calling for a late check out he says you’ll have to call someone at 6:30 in the morning. What’s that about and I got more help from people that were staying there then I did from the staff it was terrible and I really really was exhausted after I stayed there. I came in with a cane and they knew that I couldn’t walk that well.
