Quaint historic hotel (inducted into the National Register of Historic Places) with all the modern amenities. We had a short night stay that left us wishing we had more time in Lava Hot Springs. Comfy beds, plush linen, updated bathrooms, and hot and cold beverages available all day. The two outstanding amenities were the free hot mineral bath and a fantastic breakfast. There are three different private bathhouses that the guests can sign up for in half an hour sessions. The breakfast voucher covers either sumptuous, a little quirky, combo meals or a la carte items from the menu. The only caveat to prepare for in advance is the lack of elevators, as this is a historic property. Overall, excellent experience.

Would have liked a hairdryer in the room & more hooks to hang towels/robes on in the spa rooms.
This is quaint hotel has all the nostalgia of yesteryear. We stayed only one night but we are looking forward to going back.
Nice old school feel with some genuine character. Rooms well appointed and comfortable. Some renovations would definitely make it more swanky, but the homeliness and accessible to all feeling works well for now! Oh and the hot pools...
