Texas Station Gambling Hall and Hotel

All the common areas are very smokey and had all the bell and whistles of the Casino that it is a part of. Even my none smoking Room had the smell of smoke coming from who knows where. The room was clean and passable for a casino hotel, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. BUT no free breakfast.

Checked in Sunday out Tuesday. About 1am my son in another room called frantically he had found a bug on his pillow! Turns out it was a tick! Since he hadn't left the casino since Sunday, it had to come from the casino! Our room was nice but that incident made the stay blighted!

Me and my 10 year old daughter stayed here for 4 days. I enjoyed the different options they have for adults and children plus feeding your family won't come at a hefty bargain. The Grand Cafe is a good place to go if you're on a budget or out late at night, as they are open 24 hours. The best thing is the hotel is off the strip and only about 20 minutes away from downtown.

They need to get rid of smoking rooms altogether. For non-smokers, being stuck in one of these rooms - and not being refunded your money - is horrible. When you reserve the room, your smoking preference is just a "preference": they don't guarantee that you'll get it.

We stopped here for the night after a long drive. Everything was fine. Just wish the nonsmoking rooms didn't have the smoking smell linger around in the hall.

My recent visit I was placed up on the 6th floor. The entire floor was filled with Teenaged girls who were very noisy. Slightly annoying but they were just kids having fun. The shower in the room had very low water pressure. Showering was not a pleasant experience.

It was nice and quiet. Nice sportsbook place. The location was great with walmart next door and off the strip. The gift shop had everything I needed. The front was very nice. The housekeepers were very helpful and prompt. Thank you Texas Station

Check in was pretty smooth no problem. Staff was very accommodating and provided good info

Comfortable and clean. Convenient cafe and coffee service.

Overall, the stay was great. No bells and whistle but comfortable and convient. Staff are excellent. Staff very willing to help. I travel with two busy boys, and it helps me keep them busy. There is Kid Zone, a movie theater, convient eating places, and best of all the pool.

there was no internet connection, but the desk said they would refund the resort fee.

Like, because is quiet for people need to rest, next time in my particular situación se need extra bed, or little mattres, for a big familes, like us, we are 5. But evething is realy good.

We needed a stop between Death Valley and Valley of Fire state park and Texas Station fit the bill. Check-in provided some coupons for discounts including a free line of bowling, shoe rental not included. As with most hotels in Vegas, this one came with an extra resort fee room charge which makes comparing hotels a bit of extra work, but their fee is lower than some I've seen. The overall price was good, among the lowest.

Nice hotel. Clean. Area a little shady. Wifi never worked.

We got back from Vegas a couple days ago, and something special happened at Texas Station, where my wife and I stayed over the weekend for 3 nights of our 5 night stay. On the final day, even though I did my double check, as we were leaving the room, we forgot my wife's 2 purses, an MK and a Coach. My wife was frantic. We looked through the car, the luggage, the hotel room at the Mirage - all of them several times. After we ate at a buffet, I called Texas Station, got through to the hotel, and confirmed we left the purses there. Said we would pick them up after our show. So we got to Texas Station, went to the security podium the officer behind the counter took my name, and room number 4 times in 5 minutes... and were offered 2 purses, a Zebra Stripe and a Leopard Print purse. The description in the hotel said black/white and brown!!! We came all the way there for this? Wife was panicking again. Then the normal security came back from break, and took over. Yup the purses were there, they were still in the back of the house. A supervisor would bring them to the front. About 10 minutes later, me had the MK and Coach bags. Signed the paper accepting the return of the bags... and my wife started going through to make sure everything was there. Our wedding rings were missing. They were in a small coin purse (we had them cut off a few years ago due to poor circulation on those fingers). The coin purse was sealed, but the rings were missing. Since we were still at the podium, we made a report. Was told that they can't just go accusing the housekeeping staff, and there was nothing they could do. The rings weren't super valuable, but the sentimental value was there. So... paid 3 nights, paid for a party of 35 at the buffet, lost money at the slot machines and table games, lost our wedding bands. All in all this will be a memorable weekend, and a reason to avoid staying at Texas Station or for that matter at any other Station Casino property for a while. I can understand why you won't be liable for theft in the rooms, but theft from within our things, shows you have some thieves working for you.

Very happy with hotel, room, and amenities. The amenities being .99 cent margaritas and an excellent cover band that gave a free show on Saturday night. There are kids around, so it's not the quietest during the day, but we really enjoyed our stay at Texas Station, and we really enjoyed the reasonable price.

the hotel was great overall. no mention was made that we had to request use of a microwave or refrigerator, we needed one, too bad. the staff checked us in, free friendly.

Honestly its great for a quick stay. The staff was also on top of everything, they help me book for and extra stay and housekeeping kept my room so nice and clean with new linens and bath towels. The only issue is that the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything......everything......everything. I personally would not say it is good for family stays because of all the things and conversations that you hear. But once the walls are insulated a little more this hotel would be five star in my book,

I've stayed numerous times at the Texas and it's affordable and very nice. Plus the coupons they offer at check-in are excellent. I really recommend it if you are in town.
