Didn't check TripAdvisor before stopping by chance after 10 hours of driving on a long distance road trip. Cell service was slow so I just went in to ask their rates and availability. Lady at the front desk was super sweet and cordial. For $59.99+tax I thought, "Well can't be that bad". Wrong. I should have seen the room first. Carpet was filthy and torn. Not that I'm sleeping on the floor but still, I've stayed in more presentable youth hostels around the world for $10-12/night. Every room on our floor had a no smoking sign but the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. Inside the room there was an unbearable fake perfume smell hanging in the air which might have been just slightly better than the cigarette smell in the hallway. The room is very bare bones. No mini fridge or microwave, one little bedside lamp to light the entire room, the thinnest blanket possible over the sheet. AC unit was super noisy so we just turned it off for the whole night. Shower had hot water and good pressure. Bathroom appeared clean. Mattress was actually comfortable and we slept surprisingly well (had camped in national parks a couple nights in a row before this). The next morning the clothes I slept in smelled very strongly of cigarettes. How disgusting is that? The linens appeared clean so I don't know if it was the mattress or the linen or the air in the room. Our car was fine in the parking lot overnight but there are sketchy characters hanging out on the street and at the truck stop which half surrounds the motel. I did see a pretty pool to one side of the lobby but I wanted to get out as quick as possible from this dump of a motel (sorry!) The front desk reception lady at check out was also very sweet and professional. They do charge you a $25 deposit. Overall I'd recommend staying at a different place. A hotel on the strip booked through a travel website might have come out just $10-20 extra it may have been worth it.
Had the poor experience of staying at this hotel arranged by tour company. Took over an hour to check in and help was not pleasant. Upon asking for a ground floor room as I had to bring in everything out of my bus as signs everywhere that said not responsible for lost or stolen items which in N LAS Vegas next to a truck stop with lots of low life hanging around I can understand. I asked to look at the room after I had read several reviews and accepted the room. While entering the bathroom area I noticed spots and collection of dirt around the toilet area as well as by the door jams. Looking closer it was urine not mine that was around the toilet and just a build up of dirt as the room probably has never been cleaned as it should. I then proceeded to use there face cloth wet with my shoe on and as you can see not white anymore. Discusting to say the least. I hope I never see the inside of this place again.
I reserved room in the same moment with app hotels. When I arrive at the hotel i see that I was a Mistake The name of book reservation isnt my name, is my wife name. I explain to a black girl that attend me. But She did want to help me. I try to chance name with app, and I could not. I explain again to the girl but for her doesn't matter this. I say to her: Pleasee can you call for me? I don't talk engliah good and my phone is from Spain". She doesn't do NOTHING. She gave me a numer for call to expedia But i explain that my reservation is not from expedia. Y try to call at internacional service of hotels (name of my reseevation company) but I was 20 minuts at thelepone, never respond me. And the black girl of reseption dont help me never. Dont see me, dont help me. Ingored me totally. My travel have to finished 26 of Jule, but I was to come back before for lungs problems (I am trasplantated of two lungs) Indignant and sad I was to go from there with the room payed. I show to the recepcionist my card which payed the room and the reservetion completly in my phone. Its crazy, I reserved just 4 minuts ago. The recepcionist was very rude and no-human with me. Please hire a good personal that do his job not a girl that Ignore guests. Sorry for my poor english My reservation numer was: 139746655276 . I lost my room for this recepcionist.
Be careful if using Expedia or other services to book this property. Potential for hidden fees once you get there even if you have ostensibly paid in advance. They also take a significant deposit that can be refunded at checkout. SAVE THE PAPERWORK on this. Though the room was marked non-smoking, it reeked. The room was clean, but very underlit. Plenty of hot water but no plug in the small tub. Decent size fridge. No coffee service. Poor sound insulation. TV with a loooong paper describing how to call and have the receiver box reset. Adequate free wifi.
My husband and I tried to stay here but the condition of the room was deplorable. I would call this a rent by the hour type of place. First they tried to over charge us and argued even after we pointed out their errors in math! The woman helping us literally became hostile and had a fit. The room was not ready even after an hour of the check in time when we got to the room it reeked of a perfumed spray. The room was dirty. There was actual food left in the grimy cupboards. The door to the closet was broken and the bathroom was nothing short of disgusting I never sat down. We immediately left and went to a hotel on the strip. And we thought by paying for the king suite we would of had a better chance of getting a decent room. No the room was in the basement bottom floor. No smoking. But cigarette burns everywhere. Please if you can stay somewhere else.
The TV wouildn't work and frnt desk set u\it up for our service in conversation with the Satellite Company and it responded and worked well. on the third night it broke down again, we were without a TV for an hour. Then the evening front desk girl came and fixed the TV by moving the dresser away from the wall connections and it worked beautifully again! Other then these two incidents every was okay.
All I can say is the place is great. Great price for a room that includes a microwave & small fridge. Cold, very cold AC! And like a gazillion cable channels. Only 2 things could be better. First no phone in the room. Good, because who really wants a call while staying at a motel. Not good for anyone who doesn't have a cellphone. The other thing was the screeching shower head, very annoying. Wish I had pics.
This room was booked for us by our children's junior sports league. We got there and there was a lobby full of dissatisfied customers waiting their turn. They bungled our reservation--instead of one room with two queens they gave us two with king beds "deluxe suites"-- and when we finally got it figured out, the rooms they gave us were FILTHY. One of the rooms, which was supposed to be non-smoking smelled like someone had just smoked in there. When we complained, the woman at the desk said: "I can't guarantee what people do behind closed doors." She was very dismissive and rude. During this interaction, the cleaning lady dropped a bottle of beer on the lobby floor. Someone was smoking pot in the parking lot. Not an environment for a family. It was so bad that we busted out the credit card and went to another hotel, which was hard to do because Vegas was booked due to a huge iHeart music festival. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY AT SUNRISE!!!!
we had made reservations, went to check in and they told us they couldnt find us in the computer. had to call the website we made the reservations at,got it all figured out. Got to our room tried to turn on the tv wouldnt turn on. my husband moved the tv stand to notice it was horrible dirty and the tv needed an extenstion cord... the bathroom floor was sticky and gross. floor looked like it wasnt vacuumed at all. went to bed that night the sheets felt still damp from the dryer(i hope) the room key wouldnt work unless you tried 8 to 10 times. next day my son found a ciggrette lighter under the air conditoner(also very dirty under it). only good thing was amazing hot water. i will never ever stay here again..
They got our rooms wrong. The pool was dirty. We got stained sheets and floors in bathroom were dirty as well...But we were only there to sleep for the weekend and we couldn't change hotels last minute. It would have been a complete waste of time.
