When wife's not happy everyone else is not happy. Thru the eyes of the boss we saw old motel that needs to be updated and brought up to today standards. If you like that 1970 feeling then you will feel right at home. The air conditioner was very loud that I had to shut it off so the wife could sleep. Although it did have a nice electronic door lock. LOL. No mini fridges either so you couldn't store any beverages. It did have a nice location on a hill overlook the lake. Thru my eyes all the above is correct but who really cares when you just need place to sleep after a long day doing everything the wife wants to do . Price always reflect quality so it was cheap and that what you get.

Not the best hotel but it's ok for the price I paid. Very expensive if you don't go through third party

The hotel was dilapidated. Need of major renovation. Carpet in our room was stained. The bed cover smelled of urine (had Maintenance change the cover right away). The website stated $20 per night for a pet. We were charged $25. Some standard things at other motel was extra for this one. No microwave. No fridge. No toiletries. Charged us extra for a fridge. The room smelled. Wr haf to buy air freshners, carpet freshners to be able to stay there 6 nights.

The hotel was nice but the at people outside made noise outside 2 am The room could use a few more pillows

The staff was the Travelodge's saving grace. The rooms were outdated and dingy. The mattress was hard, had tattered corners and the pillows were lumpy. The size of the room was nice and there was a very comfortable chair in our room. The location was very convenient and had a nice view.

We stayed here because we needed a pet friendly hotel in Lake George. The location was convenient. I liked how the hotel sat up on a hill so it was above the road traffic and had a distant view of the lake. It was your average motel room with not much comfort. Free breakfast was good.

This hotel was in the perfect area of Lake George. Everyone there was very helpful. The rooms are on the old side, but the location makes up for everything. There is a clean pool and continental breakfast.

Great for a weekend stay Great location for getting around Lake George Only negative would have like more grills and picnic space

Staff was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. However, like many hotels in the Lake George region, the rooms weren't very up-to-date. The carpet, sheets, and paint needed to be updated. However, for the price I paid and for the amount of time I spent in the hotel room, I would recommend for that reason alone.

The hotel was good for the price, you can't expect more. However it was further from the event than I had planned. I was surprised by the first thing you see as you enter...the safe! That gave me reason to be concerned...was this a safe place? Beds were comfortable, linens were clean.

Booked the room only 6 months before the car show since it was the closest available so we weren't expecting much. It was average and served its purposed, a place to lay our heads at night.

Place was outdated like stepping into the 60's needs a makeover went to the breakfast on Sunday morning and the had nothing left ran out of even bread for toast. I will not be back .

Hotel near Lake George was eerily empty when we arrived. Pool area was very very buggy and the water was icy cold in late August. When we returned to our room late at night their was one other guest in site - a man- who had been placed near our room where 2 women (I am a mom with a teen daughter) were staying. It was like sitting down in an empty movie theater and having the next person to enter the room come sit right by you. My daughter was scared and we slept with our clothes on.

I think a Microwave should be included in any hotel or motel in this day and age. Other than that the stay along with the staff was very nice. The breakfast that is included was excellent also.

Nice place especially for the price. Curtious staff, clean, nice swimming pool. The free breakfast is great.

When I booked my reservation I indicated I was traveling with a child and further noted that my child was 17. When I checked in they confirmed I was traveling with my child and asked how old. When I told them 17, one of the front desk staff chuckled a little, then asked the other person what to do. He was told "it comes with the room, and they are in the box." He came back carrying a teddy bear, and told me that even though she was 17, because I said I was with my child she got a complimentary teddy bear. I thought that was funny, but nice. Next they told me that because I had booked with my child, we were being given the Sleepy Time Room. I didn't ask what that meant because for the price and location, I was just hoping the room was clean. Well, the Sleepy Time Room is overwhelmed with teddy bears - on the bedspreads, on the curtains, and on every lampshade. There was even a small chair adorned with the sleepy time bear! Although the decor was a bit much, I didn't ask for another room because this one was clean, and it was in the last building on the very end of the building, so there weren't lots of people around. The location was great and the price was right. Others have commented about a smell, which was definitely present, but not unlike other old hotels I've stayed in in lakeside locations. The continental breakfast was very nice and included waffles. The free wifi was a bit spotty, but usable. I would stay there again, but I would definitely ask to avoid the teddy bear parade!

The staff was helpful, the room clean, it is located close to the village. The only downside it's the breakfast, there is bagels n waffles only, I wish they could invest a dozen to have some eggs, it shouldn't be to expensive. I was ok with the location, it is family oriented, quiet and clean. I would come back.

Room was ordinary! Staff was phenomenal - super helpful and bent over backwards to accomodate us! One suggestion for Breakfast - need to invest in another toaster - 1 is not enough when the dining room is full of hungry people! :) Thanks for all your hard work staff at Travelodge!

We had a great stay and will visit again in the future. We loved the grills, pool and playground. The only issue is that we could not wash our clothes and there was not a washer and dryer close by either. So the stay would have been perfect if we had access to washing our clothes.

Only props i give this hotel is location is good ,view of mountains and close to a lot of places. First off the room smells, not like hotel but old and damp. Tv and utilities are old like 90's old. Door didnt lock well had to slam the thing. The light in bathroom blew if you plugged anything into an outlet, they did fix it though. My biggest peeves were A DIRTY WASH CLOTH LEFT ON THE SHOWER CURTAIN ROD!!! I dont want to see someone elses nasty old washcloth they used who knows where! Told staff nicely about it and they just said "ok well take care of it" No sorry about that or we will make it up to you. Then at checkout they tried to charge me $15.00 extra for a roll out bed. THERE WAS NO EXTRA BED! Terrible service, terrible cleaning habits. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
