When check-in I was given a room with 1 king bed while the reservation was for a 2 queen beds. The hotel changed my room type without letting me know because over-sold. I was moved to the correct room type the next night but there was no excuse for given my room away when I made my reservation 3 months in advance. Kevin at the front desk did a great job helping but he tried to blame the mix-up on Expedia but I'm not buying it.

As a relatively new hotel, this Homewood has really bad soundproofing. You can literally hear everything from your neighbors and hallway. The worst came from the room above. The guests above ours kept stomping, running, and jumping all night (apparently they're having a party) but the hotel did nothing to stop them. On top of that, the fire alar rang 4 times at night, while my kids were taking the shower. Everybody had to rush out, in a winter rainy day!

Not sure why you started charging for parking since there is no valet and everything is self parking. The front desk is the best. Helped us check in early. We also checked out super early. Kevin M. was the nicest - helped with getting our laundry done, directing us to the best parking spot and addressing the day that one of the elevators broke down. He inspires brand loyalty.

Bed was very hard/firm. The lights in the room are connected to the restroom so if someone needs the restroom at night, the light either lights up the whole room or the person has to use the restroom in the dark. Also front desk person forgot to return my ID and didn’t apologize when I went back to get it. Was charged an extra $75 to check in early on Christmas day even though the room was ready and available.
