Been here several stay for business purpose, sometimes have complimentary upgrade, room are getting poor, should lower the price for it grade now. Good location, especially your flight at Subang Airport. Direct access to Mall with quite a lot choice of food. Wifi is bad
We booked under Agoda, stay one night with double bed room. When we first check in time, receptionist told me superior room with double bed had fully occupied. Ask me to take twin bed. I disagreed with their arrangement, anls I had paid booking in advance. After complaint, they managed to find me a double bed room. Why can't they straight away alllocate the room to me? And, i feel weird the toiletries amenities doesn't displayed toothbrush & toothpaste. Need us to call to request for it.
Stayed here from the 06/04/2017-09/04/2017, had the worst experience ever! never have i ever met such unprofessional staffs who are in the hospitality industry. We were given room 9-14, through out the whole stay our cards never worked on our door ever! so everytime we came back from somewhere we needed the assistant of the staff with the master key. can u imagine throughout the whole stay. And yes of course i've complained EVERY SINGLE DAY, and all the staff could say is someone would assist me and yes the maintenance guy came 'tried to fixed it' keep saying someone will come back after minutes to 'have a look' but no one ever came. No new room were offered. i am just utterly disappointed as my complaints were not taken seriously.
My girlfriend and I recently stayed at your hotel and were very impressed with both facilities and friendly and courteous staff. Our room was extremely comfortable and we were well served by a very pleasant and helpful housekeeping staff (sahap is what on his nametag) My girlfriend celebrated her birthday during our stay and all contributed to make it a special day, complete with a birthday cake delivered to our room. Nothing was too much trouble and any request we had was dealt with efficiently and without delay, from arranging tours to making dinner reservations. We would willingly recommend your hotel to all. These are the few staff that i have encountered during my stay Empire and there the greatest asset of all. Amin, Mogan, Mel, MJ (very timmit) and the manager on duty Alex, that came to our room to solve the safe box issue and gave us advice on whereabouts to go. Will soon see you back In Dec,
Love the cleanliness of the hotel, the room I was in was spacious and lovely. The hotel is connected to a mall which is nice to find food. However, I had a problem with my hotel key and called the staff but they never came up so had to go downstairs. Would've been nice if the staff were more responsive and friendlier.
Location is good in Subang township. Located above a mall which is very convenient to eat or grab some stuff. Check in and check out is a breeze and room is a decent size. I would say the hotel is pretty well maintained for the age and coming from an apartment/hotel concept.
Stayed here several times, but maybe time to look elsewhere. Positive - Check-in/out is much faster now compared to the previous times. Hope this is an improvement, and not because i was just lucky. Bed is very comfortable. On-call housekeeping is quick to respond. Access to Fitness First gym + pool. Connnected to mall and across another mall. About 10mins walk to a neighbourhood town centre filled with lots of local, and cafe food choices. Love the hotel's bar alfesco area and its beer promo that had not changed for years. Negative - Never really understood the layout of the room...kind of wasted space. The only space to place your trinkets within reach is a 12" side table in between 2 beds. Sofa, storage and work space is separated by the shower room, therefore becoming under utilized. Pillows are too flat. Toiletries were too bare basic, and its odd that there were cotton bud/balls & shower cap, but had to call for essentials such as tissue box and toothbrush/paste. There was no hair conditioner, but luckily could get a comb sent. Frontdesk staff carries the haughty attitude that, sadly, can be seen in a lot of sales/frontdesk staff in the region nowadays.
The buffet spread were generous and various types of delicacies featuring Malaysian cuisines, Oriental, Western, Salad counter & desserts. Affordable prices! Advisable to enjoy the luncheon from 12noon to 2p.m. Worth trying its weekend buffet.
The reception staff were efficient and I liked my bed and all the pillows. But, other than that - I would say this is an 'average' hotel. The room looked a bit tired and had an odd arrangement with a lobby/desk/wardrobe area, then the bathroom, then the bedroom. On the 8th floor, I could hear a lot of traffic noise - the window did not seal completely allowing traffic noise to enter. The corridor had constant muzac playing, which I could hear while seated at the desk, but not from the bedroom. The desk chair was not comfortable so I am pleased I was not planning to work there for any great period of time. The room did contain an iron, ironing board, kettle. There were a few items in the bathroom, with a note to ring reception if more was required. To get to reception, it was necessary to enter from the street and go up one floor in the elevator. At one point, I waited about 10 minutes to get a lift up from the street level. The elevators were always slow. The breakfast options were minimal. A security guard was stationed at the front door, which looked impressive (although could be considered a worrying sign?) and there was a notice at the door saying luggage would be scanned before entering the building. But, this did not happen. Then again, the security guard was helpful when we first arrived and the 'limosine driver' from the airport wanted to be paid in cash and we needed to find an ATM immediately. The security guard showed us where to find the machine. I ordered a taxi back to the airport from reception - the fare was paid as part of my hotel cost and was very efficient (and a better price than the car we took from the airport when we first arrived). The hotel is attached to a shopping mall, which is very convenient - the mall contains restaurants, a small supermarket, clothing stores and ATM.
We went they as a family trip for my birthday, and we also booked the sunway lagoon entrance ticket as a package with our stay. Totally worth it! We booked 4 rooms, and 2 of it was upgraded without any charge, and me n my husband got the honeymoon suite which was totally romantic and suits the mood. Transparent bath and shower, 2 floors unit with the bed is upstairs while downstairs is the hall. All is great! Breakfast was nice too with plenty of food choices that suits any appetite.
