Good location of hotel build in to a similar name of shopping mall. Varies F&B outlet and supermarket within the mall. Unique layout of rooms where washroom is between the bed and biz table. In room safe is non functional and the hotel is serve by 2 lifts which is a good tool for anger management training.( top floor to LG ground floor can take 8mins and would choose to skip your level as and when the lift felt like it ). Gym is provided by the 3rd party gym operator in the mall.
Stayed here end of May for only 1 night. Service at check in was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. we stayed in the Penthouse. It had 3 bedrooms and was a duplex unit. Very spacious, clean and overall satisfying. Just a few minor things like untidy wires that were visible and one or two cheap furniture pieces in the unit. There were two bathrooms and toilets which is rather convenient for a party or more than 3. We had a nice view of the city. Loved the location of this hotel as we had appointments in Klang and Subang. The guest lifts are slow and the number of lifts in the hotel does not serve it efficiently. F&B service was comsi comsa and the buffet breakfast is nothing to shout about. The Chinese restaurant, Di Wei is a must visit. It's located in the mall below the hotel. Not exactly reasonable priced, but the food is delicious. Will return to stay if our next visit to KL warrants an overnight stay.
Great location, connected to shopping mall. The room was unique in that the bathroom was right in the centre, dividing the entrance area where there was also a desk and chair and the sleeping area where the beds were. Everything was new and functional. Our only gripe was the limitation on wifi access- each room was limited to only 2 device logins at any one time. So if you had 2 travellers with smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc, you need to take turns on each device.
Location: Around 25mins from Subang Airport. The hotel itself is connected to Empire Shopping Mall which is quite convenient as you can get food and shopping easily without driving out. Parking is free if you are hotel guest, just give your parking ticket to the front desk staff they will help you to waive off the parking fee. Check in: Just have to show front desk staff the hotel voucher and IC, no need to pay any deposit. Room: We stay in Premier Essential Room for 2 nights. The room is quite spacious, working desk area and the “bed room” are separated by the shower room. Love it as the shower area and toilet are separated by a glass, so the toilet bowl and floor won’t get wet easily when we take bath. Shampoo + shower gel, shower cap, towel and hair dryer are provided. Toothpaste and tooth brush are provided upon request. We requested for a King size bed, it is quite comfy and pillow are soft enough for us. Service: My washroom toilet got stuck on the 2nd day morning and I requested them to send someone up to fix it and they came up within 10mins and fix it for me. Front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff are quite friendly. Nothing much to complain.
The lobby located on the 2nd floor and has direct access to a small shopping centre which have a good range of restaurants, retail outlets and a supermarket. Very convenient for travellers. Good security. Keycard access elevators and rooms. Shared carpark with the shopping centre. The rooms are very good clean, comfortable and spacious which comes with a walk-in wardrobe and study, toilet (no bath) and a good extra large size king bed. The staff are friendly and helpful which made our stay very pleasant. The hotel shared the gym and pool with Fitness First, a tenant of the shopping centre. However, areas need serious improvement is that of breakfast buffet. Breakfast time btw 6am- 1030am. However, when we were there at 9am, some of the food containers at the buffet were left emptied and not replenished for guests until its requested. Sad. The other area which need to adjust is the room rates which do not match or commensurate with the facilities and service which are expected for the price we paid in comparison to other hotels. Its slightly overpriced.
We got the mock up room which looks very elegant (first thing came to mind was - Hermes) as it was mostly black and orange color. Staffs were friendly and the lobby is always busy and do expect some waiting time especially the guest lift. Shopping is convenient and there are lots of F&B outlets to choose from.
Lobby is on the Second floor. Design is modern but air conditioning was insufficient. Lift was somewhat slower than it should. Kitchen Art Brasserie is a small restaurant with limited choice needs to improve the cleanliness of its slippery floor and rather oily table top. Insufficient indoor lighting and the glare from outside is too strong and disturbing. Anyway, staff members were hard at work and friendly.
I spent two nights here and I was really impressed with everything they provided: the warm welcome and very attentive security officer, fast check-in process and many useful information and help from the FDA, great room, easy access to mall and around the city (by train or taxi), great breakfast menu option (especially the fresh squeezed orange juice and the egg-white omelette). Special notes to the egg-white omelette: one of the best egg-white omelette which I had for my breakfast-routine menu. Actually, I ordered egg-white scrambled because I had many bad experiences every time I ordered the egg-white omelette. But, when it came to my my table, it was perfectly cooked by the chef. The fast check-out process also applied, and the Front Desk team were very helpful to keep my luggage while I was taking my breakfast before leaving the hotel. Keep up the good work and many thank's!
Rooms are nice and clean; very modern with complete amenities. For some weird reason, for the 4 times I’ve stayed in this hotel, for my last two, I had experienced when the aircon broke down and I had to transfer rooms in the middle of the night. It was really terrible. I dunno if it were just a coincidence but two in a row can’t be counted as an accident. Breakfast food is nothing great. I stay for 3-4 days straight and you get a feel that the food is a leftover from yesterday’s buffet, reheated for next day’s use. The service isn’t tiptop as well. The staffs aren’t as friendly as well. The location is good since it has a mall beside it which you can go around and buy stuff when needed. There is a nearby train stop but have to walk for about 15 minutes. Its also 1 hour away from KL.
It's the first time we booked this place for our business trip. And I must say, of all the hotels in Subang Jaya, this hotel has the best, strongest wifi in the room -Hands Down!! We got ourselves a 2 bedroom unit. The space is adequate and place is clean. Service top-notch. Except that the living room and 1st room's ac is connected and it wasn't cold throughout our stay even though we have asked them to come over to fix it since day 1. It just wasn't repaired. Another inconvenience is that there isn't space for you to place your change of clothes or towels in the bathroom or for your toiletries. So, you literally have to wrap yourself in the towel and walk to your room to change. There are a few conveniences for staying here. The mall with all kinds of food and supermarket is just next door! So you can either get out on ground level and walk 5 steps across or go to B1 carpark and walk over. There are lots of carpark at this hotel because it's connected to the mall and it's sufficiently well-lit. And if you stay at the hotel, ask for the season parking card, so you don't have to keep going to the concierge to have your car-park ticket validated before you drive out.
