A great apartment. Secret seems to relate to the difficulty in finding the place, we collected the keys from the Secret Garden Hostel with directions to the apartment but no specifics about how to find it. It turned out to be through a gateway the leads to a bar, halfway down there is a wrought iron gateway that you access to get to the apartment on the first floor. However, when entering the apartment all that was forgotten, two generous bedrooms, decent kitchen and a lovely toilet/shower room. The main bedroom had a door to the balcony which overlooks the garden area of a bar. Very pleasant in the evenings and for sitting out to eat breakfast. The beds were comfortable enough but creaked/squeaked quite a lot if you changed position, more of an issue for my wife who is a light sleeper. The area looks a little run down but in a nice way and there are lots of quirky bars nearby as well as several options for places to eat. Highly recommended and we would definitely use the same apartments if we visited Krakow again.

Great value great location

Great roomy and central apartment in good condition. Sleep two couples easily with a couple of smaller children. Well equipped and with tea, coffee, sugar etc provided. Nice to have outside space and the bar in the courtyard closes at 10 pm so no noise at night. Close to tons of food - book for the sushi up the road. Keys are from nearby hostel so not really a hassle and no time constraints on pick up schedule. Highly recommend.

A great family stay in a nice area

A great place to stay for a family. In the Jewish area of Krakow, with a lot of nice restaurants around the corner. The apartment is real nice, with great space. Kitchen perfect to have a breakfast or a lighter meal at before hitting the city. Convenient with a couple of smaller supermarkets just around the corner. Would definitely come back to this apartment when next visiting Krakow. The entrance to the apartment can feel a bit dodgy and dark at first, but with 2 locks to unlock before arriving at the apartment door we did not feel unsafe in any way.

Walking distance

Apartment is within walking distance of town centre and places of interest,it is very modern inside although the building is old.it is also quiet, i would use the secret garden again.

check in and out locations at 2 different location

Coming in with public transportation or even a car is difficult. The available parking spaces are non existent. You must register at one location and then walk quite a distance to your apartment with luggage in tow. Not easy in an unfamiliar neighborhood. If you use a taxi it would mean using 4 as there is no room on the tiny Kracow streets for a cab to wait while you check in and out.The neighborhood is great,but very popular.

Excellent apartment and location, I have always stayed in Kazimierz as I love the Jewish Quarter. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable and remained surprisingly cool considering the high temperature outside. The added bonus was the outside seating area on the wooden balcony. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Great place and location!

Location was in old city but parking was still possible. Popular nearby restaurants were packed. Get reservations early. We loved the place and will come back when we go back to Kraków next year.

Great apartment in Krakow

Lovely apartment in easy walking distance of all tourist sights. Secret Garden staff were very helpful. Only the bed was not so comfortable and getting in means a series of keys that could be helpfully labelled. Would certainly recommend this. Plenty if space for two couples.

Great apartment

This is a great two bedroom apartment in a very good location in Kazimierz. The apartment is very spacious with a nice kitchen and bathroom. It also has a big furnished balcony/patio. It's also extremely good value. The only criticism is that there was no info on our reservation that we were meant to pick up the keys from a different location. We got to the address of the apartment and saw a brown gate without any signs and were confused as to what to do. Turned out that the reception was a 5 minute walk at a different location. Overall we had a lovely stay!

Great place for a family

Very spacious and comfortable place for a family within walking distance of Main Market Square, Wawel Castle and Jewish Quarter. Paid parking on the street and nice area. As others have mentioned, it's very secure, almost too secure as you have to go through three doors, so safety is not an issue. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others.

Long weekend break

We stayed in apartment for a family. Picked keys up from hostel a few streets away . Perfect location in the Jewish section of Krakow. Many small bars and eating places close by. Would recommend. Breakfast was in hostel, basic but enough for start of the day

Top place for a private getaway

Situated centrally in the Kazimierz district, the apartment is close to all bars and retaurants. The apartment itself was spacious and well furnished, it has a kitchenette diner and a large bathroom with good sized shower. A good heating system which also provided constant hot water. We felt very secure with a double lock door on the apartment and a locking gate on the staircase, All in all we were very impressed with the place, highly recommended.

Secret Garden Apartment III

This hotel was in a good location. It was clean and tidy was also modern. I would recommend staying there but i do have a few things that were a little bit iffy. 1 when we arrived we went to the apartment but there was no one there and we wernt sure where we were ment to get the keys from as i hadnt received a email telling me otherwise. So i rang and someone picked me up and tock me around the corner to the backpackers that run it. 2. breakfast was also at the backpackers which was about a 5min walk away, normally i wouldnt care about walking but it was -15 outside and very cold. 3. i went to cook on the stove top but it was gas and there was not ignition switch and i couldnt find a lighter. As im not a smoker we also didnt have a lighter and when i rang to find out how to light the oven the receptionist just said dont you have a lighter well you better go get one! little bit unhelpful. i did enjoy my stay and the location was good but if sort out the little things then you will gave a great stay.
