Qubus Hotel Krakow

We stayed at this hotel in 2017 having had it recommended by friends. This year, returning to Krakow, it was the obvious choice, and we were not disappointed. Although the hotel was much busier on this occasion s they were hosting the world swing dance competition the levels of service were at the usual high standard that we had previously enjoyed. A new innovation this time around was that the hotel placed a cell phone style gadget complete with apps which recommended various attractions, told how to use public transport, had GPS using Google maps for planning trips, free winter access and much more. This came as part of the room package. All you had to do was recharge it in the room overnight and it would be ready for the next days activities. A nice idea for 1st time visitors. If you're interested in the Jewish heritage and the events of WW2 this hotel is ideally placed between the old ghetto area and the modern Jewish Quarter and is only a short walk away from Old Town Krakow. No hesitation in recommending it again.

Qubus is a modern hotel situated about 25 minutes walk from the main square but only 10 minutes from the nicer Jewish quarter. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a room on the 7th floor with wonderful views over the river and of the city. Room was of a good size and as others have said it was well equipped, bed was comfy and it was surprisingly quiet. The leisure complex with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was lovely and had views across the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent with an amazing amount of choice which set us up for the day. I would compare the chain to IBIS or Premier Inn so a good standard. A couple of niggles. The bath towels are very small and the hand towel was really no bigger than a face cloth. Paper cups for tea/coffee its more eco friendly to use china ones than those you throw away and of course much nicer. Lady guests should note that the only toiletries provided is soap/shampoo in a dispenser, so you need to bring your own. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it was also reasonably priced.

What a lovely hotel and lovely staff. Rooms are so clean, providing a kettle, coffee and tea, also an iron and ironing bored, and a nice touch providing an umbrella by the door incase of a rainy day! Spotless room, fresh towels everyday and bottles of water provided for no cost. The hotel itself is immaculate. When we arrived we got into our room, we were disappointed that the pillows were small, but we rang reception and in the space of 5 minutes a maid gave us two extra pillows, (bare in mind this was at 2am in the morning) such amazing service. Eric the manager is so friendly and lovely and also the staff, doing Qubus proud. Slightly disappointed about breakfast, because of its high season in april, the price for two people was €34, which we found was abit steep, but its cheap enough to eat out! Thankyou for an amazing stay and we will be back soon!

Booked for a short break to visit Krakow and the surrounding areas with friends. Good clean and comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Good views from the rooms and use of the rooftop swimming pool is a bonus. Within easy walking distance of the centre of Krakow and there is plenty of information at hand both at reception and in the rooms, particularly free use of a hand held tablet with maps and advice. It is a business hotel and also caters for large groups so meal times can be a bit busy, especially breakfast. We eat in the restaurant in the evening as we had spent most of the day out and the food was always hot, varied and tasty with plenty of local dishes except for our last night. This we discovered was down to a change in the team and a different chef. We all commented that we may have taken a different view of the food had we received this on our first night. There was also a noticeable change in the buffet provided for the large groups with questions being asked about the shortage of some dishes. Apart from that I would definitely use the Qubus hotel again in the future due to it's location and service provided.

Lovely view to the river form all rooms and especially form the swimming pool. The heated floor at the bathroom was also an excellent surprise. In the room there was an umbrella to be used by the residents. Very clean and comfortable hotel.

This hotel is fab. We didn't stay but had to meet our tour guides here on the morning of our tours, staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fab we ate here 2 days also Really clean and bright if travelling back we would stay here

The hotel was located by the river and 15minutes from the main attractions i.e. main square and jewish quarters. It was in a quiet location. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool area with a nice area to relax. Also a gym if you felt like some exercise. There was a booking agent within the hotel if you wanted to book trips. Also a car hire. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast consisted of hot scrambled egg sausages bacon and beans. There was a lovely buffet of meats, cheeses, etc. Lots of different breads and rolls. All in all a lovely hotel.

Lovely Hotel although couldnt find pool or sauna , ate out so never had food in hotel , heating didnt work so had jumper on in bed , would stay again only if moved to a warmer room, although we didnt complain

Very friendly check in staff, every possible choice for breakfast. I didn't use the pool as unfortunately I arrived with a chest infection, but OH had a swim and said it was lovely. This is more of a business hotel, ideally situated for all the sights.

The Qubus hotel in Krakow is a modern business hotel, but also good for a touristic visit. The modern design looks a bit cold and impersonal. The standard double room is of sufficient size and of a comfortable business standard- The bed offers a good sleeping quality. Facilities include a seating area, a desk and a wardrobe. Internet works fine. The bath room is bright and equipped with a tub. The breakfast buffet is coming with an extraordinary wide selection, good for all tastes. We are less impressed by dinner. The dishes are of "modern, international cuisine". I personally missed typical Polish dishes. The price level is rather high. The indoor pool is beautifully created in the 7th floor overlooking the Vistula River. The old town is easy to reach with the tramway or in 30 minutes walking distance. Around the hotel are no notable restaurants, only a supermarket. Parking in the hotel's own underground car park costs ZLT 50 / 24 hours. Use of the garage is recommended because the police is eagerly distributing parking tickets.
