We had a brilliant 4 night stay in Krakow and really enjoyed the room and its amenities in the Qubus hotel. We are a family of 4 with small children and the hotel was perfect for us with a family sized room (junior suite), playroom which is between the restaurant and the reception/bar area and swimming pool, jacuzzi, steamroom and sauna. The breakfast was plentiful, a lot of it was not to our children's liking but there was a lot to choose from, they are juts not used to different food (e.g. sausages from outwith the UK!). The room wasn't ready for us when we arrived fully in that the child's bed was not there or made up (and we arrived at 11pm) but this was quickly rectified and the receptionist very kindly allowed us a late check out on our last day which was really very much appreciated and really made our last day much more relaxing......so all in all a perfect stay. The hotel is a little far from the main square but it is so easy to get around by taxi etc and all is very reasonable including trips booked n the hotel, taxis. We also felt the bar prices and restaurant were good for that standard. The staff were pleasant especially Wictor who helped us on our last day.
Stayed at Qubus hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. It's a modern and new hotel close to the city center. Breakfast is really fantastic. The staff was very friendly. It was a pleasant stay! Will go back
We stayed at Qubus hotel for 4 nights and had a great time .Our reservation was made for a standard room, a room was spotless and convenient but a bit small for two persons, worth paying some extra and get more space. Beside this point it was a perfect stay - clean modern hotel, nice pool and spa area, excellent breakfast. We tried free Vistula boat tour which is offered for hotel guests - very nice experience. Location is good, about 20 minutes walking to center, tram stop is next to hotel.
Stayed 2 nights. This is a smaller but quality hotel. The room and bed comfort were spot on. I loved the quality of the fittings and the space in the bathroom. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and can highly recommend both.
It was a bit strange to have a room overlooking the entrance lobby! Having said that the room itself was comfortable and clean. Toiletries had to be asked for at reception! The only problem was noise from the bar late evening. Situated in a great location we discovered that it was easy to walk to most attractions and the main square. The maps were not terribly good and a couple of times ended up taking the scenic route!! Overall I would recommend the hotel, but check the rooms.
Travelled with Jet 2 to Krakow and stayed at Qubus Hotel. The hotel is superb. Rooms very nice, bathroom superb. Bed very comfortable and very quiet in the evening. We also had a 4th floor room which overlooked the river. At night it was beautiful.
If you want a nice hotel with closeness to city with good service, food and price this could be the place for you. Nice and clean with a boat that takes you to the old town for free every full hour. Perfect in my opinion.
A nice modern hotel on the banks of the river. A well appointed hotel, friendly staff, good food & a well equipped fitness centre. Made use of the complimentary boat which takes you up the river to the castle which is a nice way to travel. The Jewish ghetto area is literally two streets behind you and it is also a 30 minute or so walk to Schindlers factory. I recommend that you ask for a room on the 6th floor facing the river as this gives you a great view of the river and the town beyond that.
So I booked two rooms with a view, dropped the hotel an email ahead of time and received a really nice reply from Anna. Upon arrival at the hotel, everything had been arranged. I had two rooms next door to each other (another one of my requests) on a high floor (6th). The rooms were really nice and comfy, as winter is on its way and the weather is changeable, the first day required the use of the air conditioning and the rest of the stay involved using the heat, both worked well. There's even underfloor heating in the bathroom which was really nice. The wifi was the best I've experienced in a hotel so far, connected multiple devices and never lost signal once. The bed was really comfy so no issues sleeping. As for breakfast, I can see why people rave about it. There's really something for everyone. There's lots of different food options available on site (the weather put me off going outside after a long day sight seeing) and whilst not amazing, it ticks the box. I tried the pool also and was able to chill out in the spa being the only one there. Nothing beats being up to your neck in warm water watching Krakow pass you by outside. All the staff were really friendly and more than happy to help. When arranging with a travel company collection from the hotel, the guy on reception was like "pass me your phone, I'll speak to them in Polish to ensure there's no problems" which really made the difference. Moving on, the location. If you're in Krakow for the history then you'll love this hotel location. It's a short walk to both the Schindler factory and the old Krakow ghetto. In fact the main ghetto square is one block away. If you're wanting to visit the castle then why not try the free hotel boat? It'll take you up the river and even stop in the middle of the lake to enable you to get the best view for your photos.
I stayed in this hotel for business. It's a good option to stay in the city. The breakfast is good, has a lot of options to eat. Quiet hotel, near downtown, it's easy walking from downtomn to the hotel. Nice sightseeing to the river.
