It is my understanding that this hotel very recently, underwent a renovation. That being said, when the room was booked, we booked a king. Kings are no longer an option in this room post-reno, so we dealt with a queen. This information was not relayed to us and no other options were provided. The room was TINY. A constant scent was sprayed into the room from somewhere and it wasn't exactly subtle. Location and breakfast was good. View was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

Short City Break

Hotel was clean and comfy. The reception staff were always very helpful. We booked our trips to the salt mine and Auschwitz through the hotel. View over the castle and river was amazing. Probably one of the best hotel room views we have ever had. Hotel is only 5 min walk from the old town.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Kossak! The food was delicious, the rooms spotless, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect, and I felt very welcome. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

The hotel is spotless throughout, great staff nothing is a problem for them all very polite and courteous. Breakfast was excellent standard and great choice. Rooms are a good size and a good standard for a 4 star hotel. Great location to get to all the main attractions and walkable to the main square. The reception team arranged tours to The salt mines and Auschwitz which came to the hotel to pick us up I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return.

The rooftop restaurant and bar was great for drinks, but closed at 10pm. Saturday night even the main bar was shut. Our view was terrible, backing onto the bin storage area. Other than that, was a lovely hotel.

The hotel is very nice and is in a good location. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing. I was disappointed in the view from our room as I paid extra to upgrade to a room with a castle view. I have attached a photo of the view from my room which was on the first floor. I do not think I should’ve had to pay extra for this view. The regular rooms were the same size. Some of the service on the rooftop bar was poor also.

Great location

Lovely corner apartment, which overlooked the river and Wawel castle. Within walking distance to main squares, jewish quarter etc. Would highly recommend. Great variety of food for breakfast. Staff very friendly.

Hotel is in a good convenient area with a pleasant walk into the main square. The rooms are spacious with Nespresso pods & bottled water replenished daily. A good sized fridge in the room too. The staff were super & the food for breakfast & dinner was very nice.

Great room, freindly staff.

So this hotel is a 20 minute walk from the station and by the castle side of the city. It doesnt look much from the street but we booked a superior room overlooking the river and it was spectacular. The room was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a really comfy bed. I think this room catered for 4 people so we had plenty of room and two large tvs. The hotel was really clean and staff friendly and we used the roof top resturant and the food there was great. Only slight negative was the gym, we like to work out when we go on holiday and one treadmill and a couple of weights (not heavy) is all that was there. Defintely would go back though it was good value for money. Recommended 5 stars.
