We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. We booked Deluxe room as it was Bday trip and whilst booking I asked if we.could get possibly nice view(which I never got response from). After checking in by 2 female receptioninsts who didn't seem to care too much and did absolute minimum, we walked to the room to find out, that it's facing all outside aircon system! Really awful view and really noisy one! It's a Deluxe room which states to be most expensive one for 2 people and you get not particularly good welcome service plus bad night of sleep with crap super noisy view... I called the reception and politely asked if we can get different vmiew but apparently this wasn't possible... breakfast was good, cleaning ladies smiling and happy, room itself was good and perhaps we were just unlucky but I geniuinely felt like service you get and room we got wasn't fair for the price we paid. To compare- at the checkout there was a bloke at the reception who literally said one sentence but sounded way more.professional and nicer. His tone was more respectful and friendly.

The only thing we like was the interior design. The room had an updated, pleasant look and the breakfast rooms were naturally beautiful. Unfortunately, there are more things that did not work. 1. First, the hotel advertises it has a shuttle service to get to the airport. This is not true. The receptionist just called to get us a taxi. We could barely fit our luggage. We also could not pay for the transportation at the hotel desk. We had to get Polish currency in the morning to be able to pay directly to the taxi driver. Any hotel that does not say they have a shuttle service could do the same thing - call a taxi. In addition, we were informed but a host working at reception that a van is waiting for us outside to take us to the airport. The van was there indeed but empty. A taxi arrived shortly. 2. The shower system is terrible. It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to get it going until I quit and decided to stick to a bath. I have been to many hotels and this was the worst experience. We did call the reception and were told to push a button. That did not work. I cannot believe the receptionist could not advise anything correctly. 3. The hotel has air conditioning but we could not regulate it to adjust to your comfort needs. Also, once we left the room, the system shut down automatically and we came back to the hot room. 4. Hospitality in the breakfast room was non existent. The girls who took care of that room were quiet and did not even attempt to ask how we are doing. They were literally like ghosts. My daughter ended up dropping a plate and breaking it. We apologized for the accident and one of them came to clean up saying absolutely nothing. What an unpleasant and awkward moment. 5. The hotel does not accommodate traveling families. For a couple with a child, three separate narrow beds is all you could offer.

I dislike my first hotel in Krakow so much that I cut short my stay (paid for by my employer) and went looking for digs elsewhere. I am thrilled I ended up in the Hotel Elektor. Lovely old building (okay, a bit frayed around the edges here and there, but it only adds to the charm), comfortable room with every amenity I need (air conditioning, a refrigerator, a large, roomy bed, and a handful of English-language television options). The staff could not possibly have friendlier and more accommodating. Good breakfast, in a basement room with loads of character.

Expedia had created so many troubles prior to getting to this hotel that we thought we may not get our rooms. This included a mobile call from Poland to USA customer service which produced promises but NO results. Will NEVER use Expedia again..!! Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful especially Magdalena or Malgorzata, sorry always got these two names mixed, receptionist. She had arranged for our rooms and to sort out Expedia. Very welcomed stress relief. Rooms very clean and tidy, excellent. Just a 2-3 minute walk to the central square in the old town. Great placement. Will definately stay here again if in Krakow again. Well done..!!

Comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location in old town. Breakfast was good, varied choice of hot and cold items and a great coffee machine ( no decaf coffee available so take your own if needed) Good restaurant attached to hotel. We were going to miss breakfast the first morning to they provided a lunch bag instead Only downside there isn't a hotel bar.

We reached Krakow and were immediately struck by the beauty of the old town. Just in this area the hotel was located. Near to supermarket, tours and many of the tourist attractions. Good service in the lobby that helped us with transfer booking.Cosy rooms with older wooden doors that opens with a regular key, high cieling and Best of all your neck did not break from super high hotel pillows 😁

Lovely clean hotel in the best location. Right in the heart of the old town. Nice clean modern room. The staff were very helpful they arranged airport transfers for us and a trip to awstwich collecting from the hotel. Breakfast was lovely no complaints. The only one gripe I have is that our room was on the inside which meant nice and quiet but no windows. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a perspex panel covered with a vertical blind. This meant whoever was in the bedroom could open th blind and you would be totally on view whether on the toilet or in the shower! Luckily we are a married couple but some might want more privacy when sharing a room.

we were a large group (18 people) staying here for 3 nights in Feb 2019 good: rooms were nice, breakfast was ok, cleaning ladies were lovely. very very close to main square bad: far too loud, if you need to stay here ask for a room off the main road. we had an issue with a shelf in the bathroom above the toilet falling and breaking a toilet seat. we were charged €80.00 for damages as hotel reception would not accept we did not cause this as it wasn't reported before cleaner came in. toilet seat replaced however the shelf was not repaired correctly. we have not yet received breakdown of cost but this seems very expensive for a plastic toilet seat. felt very let down by this experience

I recently stayed one night at the Hotel Elektor. I found the room to be clean, to have everything that one would need in terms of amenities, and the (complimentary) breakfast to be very good. The location (right in the heart of Old Town) was wonderful, but I didn't realize how many bars and clubs are in the area, so it was quite noisy at night. I can't say that it offered much more than that, however, but for $100/night, I feel like it was money well spent. If you're on a budget, I think that this would be a good choice, but would not recommend it for couples traveling/a honeymoon.

This hotel was definitely worst stay in my life. From rude front desk girls which every question ends with answer no ... to mold in rooms .Each room has door which has a gap so big even when door is closed you can hear everything from hallway outside when cleaning ladies are talking for 20 min about their poor tips and every guest comes out from elevator wake me up After asking for manager to be moved to another room - answer was not possible Look out for tiny ants under bed and inside closet I will never stay in this hotel again There is plenty great cheaper hotels near by
