Of the main street, squeezed in among the tall Buildings, you find this wonerful hotel. Clean rooms, unique art on the walls, a sauna in the basement and really, really good staff. This is the kind of hotel I could stay in for weeks. The doors have real keys as opposed to the dreadful key-cards all modern hotels have. My only complaint was the breakfast. I don't know if it was because we Went there off-season but it should have been better. It had Everything I wanted but Everything was old and stale.
Stayed at stayed at home hotel in Krakoff for four nights in February stayed bed-and-breakfast basis and the breakfast fantastic staff were attentive and facilities excellent, would highly recommend Home hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of the Main Square
One of the absolutely best hotels I have ever been in. Rooms more than fantastic, the whole hotel actually. You feel like staying in a gallery. Staff was so pleasent, so helpful. Breakfast was perfect, as someone who does not eat red meat, I had so many options, eggs, egg salad, salmon, so much vegetables, apple tart..If you are going to Krakow, this hotel is a must! I could not have possibly enjoyed my stay there more.
Brilliant place to stay whilst visiting this wonderful city with my friend. The place was spacious, clean and in a decent part of town. Could not argue with the price and was mainly for business use so no noise whatsoever. Staff friendly enough, no hassle. Decor very good. Breakfast was pretty good too. Nothing fancy but glad that people recognize that leftover pizza IS a breakfast meal! A smashing stay, would recommend to anyone!
its a lovely hotel friendly receptionists not a lot of storage space, hotel provides bathrobes and slippers, room is hot even if heating not on, used the sauna which was lovely, only 5 minutes walk to jewish quarters about 15 minutes from the city square,
Me and my partner stayed here when we were on our travels we were met by a very friendly receptionist forgot to get his name but he couldn’t have done anymore for us he really was the best our room was uniquely decorated the bathroom is different then what u might be use to but adds to the uniqueness of the room not much storage space decent size room and always warm even when heating is not on ! Room cleaned everyday unless u say other wise Never had breakfast here but had a drink down stairs when it opened at 5 was a bit disappointed that the bar closes at 10 but you can get a carry out to your room overall we had a great experience and would stay here again
I just realised that I have never written a review on this lovely hotel! My friend and I stayed here a few years ago in December. I was nicely surprised at how clean and spacious the room was. The really interesting thing about the room was the bathroom. The back wall of the room was partially glass which made the one side of the bathroom wall. it was covered by a white net curtain. It was a fab concept and rest assured you can't see anything.... Breakfast was fab, staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is a 15 minutes walk from the main square in the Old Town. Try this hotel, you won't be disappointed
Lovely hotel, staff were really friendly. Very well situated, you are literally a 5 minutes walk from the Jewish quarter and the old square. Breakfast was lovely too and our room was really nice and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.
What good luck to have chosen this hotel. I stayed here for 7 nights in January 2018. It is perfectly located, being close to the Old Town, the Castle and the Jewish Quarter. The trams run past both ends of the street, just a stone's throw away, although I preferred to walk everywhere though to soak up Krakow. The furthest distance was to the rail/bus station which was about a 20 minute gentle walk. From there I caught local buses to Auschwitz and also the salt mine at Wieliczka (which is an absolute 'must see'). Simply hop on a bus and pay the entrance fee at each location and save a fortune. You can pay 10 times more for a trip to pick you up at the hotel, but where is your sense of adventure!? The Oskar Schindler Museum (of Schindler's List fame) is also about a 20-30 minute walk away. Well worth a sobering visit. An amazing interactive and animated experience. OK, the hotel...on arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff, who gave information about the hotel, the location of nearby attractions and provided a map. There is also a free-to-use gadget in the rooms, similar to a smartphone, you can use to navigate, make local calls free, browse the internet and loads of other things. What an amazing idea! Just place it back on its charger at the end of each day and remember to leave it behind when you check-out! The room - more than ample size with very high ceilings. The bathroom is a glass room in the corner of the main room with internal curtains for privacy if you need it. Usual soaps and shampoos etc, hairdrier, roomy shower with options for standard showerhead or rainfall shower, nice square toilet and sink. Towels, dressing gowns and slippers (guessing foot size 7-8 too small for me but nice touch). Mini bar in room with a very wide range of fancy spirits, mixers, beer, snacks etc at extra cost. There is a fancy coffee machine using pods which are chargeable, but free sachets of 2in1 instant coffee and creamer if you prefer. Usual information books and leaflets. Bed was very firm which was good for me. It did have a plastic-feeling mattress protector under the sheets, which wasn't the most pleasant to sleep on, but does save you worrying about the condition of the mattress. Pillows were very soft. TV with a range of satellite channels which I didn't bother using, other than a music channel for background when getting ready to go out. Free to use WiFi and signal was full strength and very fast. I watched a couple of things on Netflix on my Ipad some evenings and it didn't buffer once! A clock radio with iphone dock is available to charge phone and play your own music. It is not the Apple lightning connection (older, wide apple dock connection), but an adaptor is available from reception at no charge. Also have adaptors for UK to EU power sockets in case you forget your own (like I did!). It was -7c outside while I was there, but the rooms were very warm. In fact too warm for me as I prefer to sleep in cooler environments, but an easy to use controller on the wall allows adjustment or switching off as required. There is a gym, sauna, etc available which I did not use. Breakfast was really good. Self service bean-to-cup coffee at a press of a button (remember to place the cup on the attached metal folding rack, or the cup will be too low and will splatter everywhere! a wide range of cold meats, cheeses, eggs, juices, yogurts, bread rolls of many varieties, sliced bread and even a squeeze your own fresh orange juice machine and a pile of oranges. Hot bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. Couldn't fault anything, except the temptation to over-eat. Everything is generally clean and tidy. Room was made up every day. Decor is .....interesting and cleverly done. Bad points - I truly cannot think of anything without being ultra-picky. The hotel was far better than I was expecting, considering the very reasonable cost per night. I have stayed in far more expensive hotels in the UK and abroad that have not come close to this hotel. I love Krakow and will definitely return one day to explore it further. I will not hesitate to book this hotel again, in fact will make a point of doing so!
