Kinnaree House is a great place to stay while in Koh Phi Phi! It has a great location- a very short walk from the party beach but far enough away to not hear all the noise. Rooms were very clean, spacious and had AC. Loved it!

stayed for 2 nights.. location is good.. room is spacious.. bed a bit hard... air-conditioner cools well.. reception area a bit far from the building no telephone inside the room.. nothing to do in case of emergencies.. hehe

Not anything flash but a decent enough place to sleep at a decent enough price! We had a few problems with our power - the TV short circuiting and turning off, not turning back on again. And one morning we woke to have no water for a few hours. Our toilet was also quite on the smelly side. The place wasn't dirty however, and the staff at the front desk were extremely lovely - they were also extremely accomodating when we needed a room for a night having unexpectedly left an overnight boat trip early! All in all - it's a cheap place to sleep in. It's in a good location but it is in no means lush. If you're coming to Phi Phi to explore this would be fine but if you're coming to relax in resort like accomodation I would give this one a miss.

On our first day in Koh Samui we came across this very good friendly restaurant which has beach and road access. Very well prepared great tasting Thai dishes of which we had a good selection. This restaurant is clean, easygoing and had extremely good choice on the menu. We only ate Thai and it tasted great, full of flavour with a very fresh taste. It was a very good decision to stop and eat a very good reasonably priced meal.

This place is simply the most disgusting, dirty, infested, grimy, bacteria ridden hole that I have ever encountered. There was blood on the sheets, mould up the walls, dirt on the towels and bugs everywhere. The staff really do not care! It's really appalling and where bugs go to die. Pay extra and stay elsewhere.

Pros: Wifi was decent when it worked (the lady at the front desk said we needed to reset the router ourselves whenever it would disconnect). The location of the hotel has bars, restaurants and marts nearby. Pricing for rooms are decent. The AC in our room blew nice cold air (but our buddies in the next room said there's wasn't working) Cons: Cleanliness is a problem, all the towels and linen we recieved had some kind of stain on it. We found a few random ants exploring our bathroom. Mosquitos would often fly into the room from the hallway. The room remininded me of a hospital because the only window we had was tucked away hidden in the corner. The toilet had a very small leak that bled throughout the washroom but hey, when you shower everything's going to get wet anyways. Random grimey dirt here and there. You can hear the boominess of the bass until the wee hours of the morning (I think the music stopped at around 3am but you can only listen to wonderwall so many times). The beautiful melody of generators whirring, water running and metal clicking and clacking may also fill your night. All in all, if you're looking for a place to rest your head and aren't picky on cleanliness, feel free to drop by. If you can afford it, do some homework and pay the money for a more comfortable stay somewhere else.

Already booked then started to Read the past reviews I was dreading staying here!!! Thinking what have we done... The reception is small and from looking at the hotel at first glance I was already judging. And thinking hmmm oh boy.... The lovely lady in the front desk showed us to our room with a smile. Honestly? It's not bad as people make out. And I'm very very high maintenance! Yes it's dated and very basic but the aircon is brilliant and the bed was perfect sleeping in. And the room was clean! So I was happy and at peace. Only cons is the shower isn't powerful and the bathroom is more of a small wet room but wasn't a problem. And was noisy at night but what to you expect by staying in the heart of phi phi next to bars and walking streets. I still had a great sleep in a great bed! Don't listen to all the negative reviews! If you want a bed to crash in from being out all day exploring the island? This is it Thankyou

Staines and rips in bedding. Bugs also in bed. AC barely worked. Wasn't expecting much but I prefer not to share my bed with insects. Also as we entered our room there was a cat laying on my bed. Can't help but think that's why the room smelt like cat sick.

I stayed at this place while vacationing on ko phi phi island and sadly I have nothing good to say about it .Room was small, difficult to ventilate, sheets and towels not so clean to begin with ,safe box didn't work cause of a battery problem,tv had problems functioning as well .Staff were ok but was bothered me most was the lack of comfort and sufficient cleanness.Maybe this is just me being 35 and wanting some more space and comfort than your average backpacker but I say ,skip this one

Kinnaree House is in a great location to enjoy all that phi phi has to offer. The rooms are quite basic but the aircon is good and our room had a fridge which is really helpful. The bathroom is a bit like a wet room, a toilet and then a shower head all in one room, the shower was hot and strong which made up for it being a little basic. Really enjoyed our stay.
