Overall Experience: This is not a hotel. This offers an economical, convenient and safe option ( they call it a guest house ) for a short stay in Mongkok district, on Kowloon Peninsula. Property condition & Facilities: This guest house ( among others ) is located in a commercial building on Nathan Road, a thoroughfare. The room I stayed in ( owned and operated by Kam Man Guesthouse) is clean, well furnished, meets the basic needs for my stay. Outside the guest room in the common area leading to the outside needs some improvement, the building is over 50 years old and it shows its age. The elevators are working no issue with guards in lobby. Area around the property: The property is located in a bustling business area with easy access to underground (MTR) and bus services around town and to the Airport. Tons of dining and shopping options withing short walk around the building. Staff & Service: Staff are friendly and helpful. They REFUSED tips from me when I offered them at checkout. Recommendations: Highly recommended if you are on a budget, not being picky, just need a room, a shower, and a bed for a short stay. If you want a true hotel vacationing experience, this is not for you.
