Cheap Hotels in Kohala Estates, HI

"The property is expansive. That might be great, but the time can be a looong way from the lobby. They run a tram, but in a dozen trips from my room through the lobby to the parking lot (a 10+ minute walk at a fast pace), I saw the tram run twice, and it was full both times. Oh, and it was slower than walking. The rooms were fine. The staff was friendly, but the concierge did seem a bit tired of people. My check-in was late, and despite that, they forgot to notify me when my room was ready. "
