Crowne Plaza ANA Kobe4.0 out of 5.0

Regularly stay in Crowne Plaza hotels around the world. This is a very tired hotel in need of updating. The rooms are clean but very dated. Normal things you expect to find in a modern Crowne Plaza are missing for example an iron and ironing board. For sure you can request one, but at 6am in the morning it’s a pain. The bathrooms really date the hotel, the awful shower over the bath a real throwback It’s not a bad place to stay but not up to Crowne Plaza standards
We were visiting family in Kobe, Japan 🇯🇵 Great hotel, great location. Located next to Shin Kobe railway station. With the JR rail station & Shinkansen rail station right next door you can go anywhere easily. We had our luggage shipped from Tokyo after our cruise 🚢 & the staff had our luggage in our room when we arrived. Great staff very friend & helpful. The rooms were nice with great view of the city. I would recommend this property.
We booked this hotel way in advance, and we liked the location, right next to the Shin-Kobe train station (where the Shinkansen trains ride). We had a room on one of the higher floors(28) which is an absolute plus, the view at night is magnificient!!! Unfortunatly they messed up our reservation and we got a room with 2 beds, which could not be moved together, as a 24 year couple that’s a pitty, but we didn’t complain about it for the single night. The room itselfs was nice, but somewhat smallish and the bathroom could be brought into the 21th century. All and all a nice hotel for 1 night.
Literally connected to Shin Kobe Train Station and within walking distance to Kitano and Sanomiya. Big modern room, good bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows, nice view, great breakfast. Staff were helpful and professional.. Room equipped with TV, Safe, hot water kettle and free Wi-Fi. Recommended.
This CP reflects a Japanese emphasis on simple functionality. As such, do not expect luxury. You can, however, expect typically excellent Japanese service as well as excellent food. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hotel has an outstanding--though pricey--Italian restaurant on the top floor with great views of Kobe. The hotel itself is a good value, but expect to pay dearly for the good food.
I had 4 nights here just back yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. location to the main train station is excellent, it's next to the JR Station and 3 minutes walk from Kobe Nunokiki Herb Gardens, and 5 minutes from the water fall track, (it's hard going near the top!) well worth a visit. Rooms are a bit small but you are in Japan, the staff are great I was also given a free room upgrade as the room. Location is good for trains and approx. 7/11 is close as with family mart. Will stay there again.
This was the third time I stayed at the hotel and it continues to live up to expectations. The club lounge is good value for money. However, the restaurants are expensive, even by Japanese standards. There are plenty of good restaurants around the vicinity of the hotel and i would recommend using these.
I had two nights here and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. location to the main train station is excellent, especially as i was tired when i arrived so not having to find the hotel on google maps was a relief, as was when i left early in the morning the convenience was great. Rooms are slightly dated but the room service is quick and not too expensive. i was also offered a free room upgrade as the room i had purchased was not available. Location is good for train, and approx. 15 mins from the "happening part of the city". 7/11 is close as with family mart.
Visited Kobe for an international conference and the Crowne Plaza was right next door to the conference centre Comfort room with executive lounge access which made the stay very pleasant. Walking distance to the underground and Shinkasen (bullet train) train station which made transfers from Osaka airport very easy. Surrounded by restaurants serving the prized Kobe beef so dining options abound.
Hotel. Was more than expected. Breakfast was more than you could eat, rooms were basic and a little dated but clean Next to the train station with 150 MTV walk so the bullet train from Tokyo 4 hrs and your in the hotel. Will book again next time I go.
