Great location, great service! Nice hotel with some restaurants and shops within the same compound. For those who drive, you can easily park your car at the multi storey car park in the building. The hotel room design and amenities seemed rather old... other than that, all is good!
This hotel is very well placed within walking distance from the bullet train station. The staff are really friendly and provide and excellent service. The hotel has had a bit of a makeover and the club facilities are good. The rooms are well presented but a little small. There are many restaurants within the building and plenty others within a short taxi trip. Nice bar with a great selection of whiskey!! Good for a short stay but not really enough to keep me here for a long stay.
Stayed here for 4 nights on business, but my husband also joined me for fun. The location is convenient for walking to many things and also for taking the train which is just down stairs. They also frequently have taxis coming if you prefer to take a taxi. The lobby is very spacious and the front desk and concierge were all very helpful and polite. I had the buffet breakfast every day and there is a varied selection foods, both western and eastern dishes. There is a bar/lounge at the top with great views. The room was very clean and not a bad size for what I was expecting in Japan. It seemed a little dated, particularly the bathroom and its fixtures, but I spent very little time in the room, so I didn't care much. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again.
Simple awesome location. Just right outside the Shin Kobe station and 15 minutes walk to downtown Kobe. The hotel facility is quite large. Check in was quick and courteous was offered an upgrade to the club floors for a modest price but since we where only there for a night, we opted out. We only stopped by to try a restaurant for the meats. Our room was facing the city. The view from the window was outstanding. Nice little gift of mochi to celebrate our anniversary. Room was outdated a bit. But was a good size and clean. The view made up for that. Didn't have the time to use the hotels facilities but I am sure it was good. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Much to choose from. Both western and Japanese dishes. Plenty of fruit and salads too. Like I mentioned, the location was great after check out walked 3 minutes to the station and boarded the Bullet train to our next city.
Although this hotel is near the Kobe mountainside, it is accessible to shops, restaurants and subway by walking. Just take the rear elevator to level 1 to go to the rear street where many shops and restaurants are found. The Basement 3 has a supermarket and a 100-yen store. Rooms and lobby are spacious. Buffet breakfast has very good choices.
The service and the quality of this place has Always been consistent! One of my favorite places to live in Kobe as it gives you a view of the ocean, the Mountain And the city. Hotel is easily accessible from Shin kobe station and from here you can easily walk to the city or go for a hike up the mountain.
The hotel is very close to Shin-Kobe Station, just a few steps away. It is great place if you would like to see Kyoto and not pay a fortune for a place for sleep. Staff at the reception desk are very helpful and polite. Room was ok, could be better cleaned up. There was a lot of dust around the room. Rooms are not very modern but the bed was comfortable. The view from our room was fantastic. In the same building is very nice restaurant with Kobe Beef, which was booked for us via this hotel.
Although the lobby and outside view on the hotel great big expectations, I was very disappointed with the small and old fashioned bathroom. Also to brush your teeth you are not in the bathroom. Strange. Check-in was different since they took a passport from some and not from all... taxi to centre is like 10-15 minutes. Kobe is a nice city. Location to Shinkansen is maximum 5 minutes with overpass with roof. Roof bar is nice but closes around midnight. View on the city is amazing!
Nothing fancy, but clean with friendly, helpful staff. I’ve stayed here a few times for work trips. It’s a pretty location next to the hillside in Kobe and very easy to walk to the central area where Sannomiya arcade and station is. A taxi ride from station with bags. Probably the best choice for westerners in Kobe, which is a lovely town to visit.
We made Kobe our base for our stay in Central Japan and selected this hotel based on its being merely steps away from the Shin-Kobe Shinkansen Station. It’s also a ten minute or so walk or one station subway ride to the main JR station as well as two other rail stations for non-JR trains. Our day trips took us to Himeji, Kyoto and Osaka, and all were within 30 minutes travel time. As to the hotel itself, from check-in to check-out, every staff member we came in contact with was fantastic. Lounge staff greeted us each morning and evening. Breakfast was the same each morning, and the night appetizers were pretty consistent, but very good. There was a decent selection of wines. The room was comfortable and 5he amenities quite nice. The cost of the room is about 40% lower than in Osaka, but is every bit as comfortable, an$ the views from the room of both the harbor and the mountains are very nice. We’ll definitely be repeat customers.
