Literally connected to Shin Kobe Train Station and within walking distance to Kitano and Sanomiya. Big modern room, good bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows, nice view, great breakfast. Staff were helpful and professional.. Room equipped with TV, Safe, hot water kettle and free Wi-Fi. Recommended.
This CP reflects a Japanese emphasis on simple functionality. As such, do not expect luxury. You can, however, expect typically excellent Japanese service as well as excellent food. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the hotel has an outstanding--though pricey--Italian restaurant on the top floor with great views of Kobe. The hotel itself is a good value, but expect to pay dearly for the good food.
I had 4 nights here just back yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. location to the main train station is excellent, it's next to the JR Station and 3 minutes walk from Kobe Nunokiki Herb Gardens, and 5 minutes from the water fall track, (it's hard going near the top!) well worth a visit. Rooms are a bit small but you are in Japan, the staff are great I was also given a free room upgrade as the room. Location is good for trains and approx. 7/11 is close as with family mart. Will stay there again.
This was the third time I stayed at the hotel and it continues to live up to expectations. The club lounge is good value for money. However, the restaurants are expensive, even by Japanese standards. There are plenty of good restaurants around the vicinity of the hotel and i would recommend using these.
I had two nights here and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. location to the main train station is excellent, especially as i was tired when i arrived so not having to find the hotel on google maps was a relief, as was when i left early in the morning the convenience was great. Rooms are slightly dated but the room service is quick and not too expensive. i was also offered a free room upgrade as the room i had purchased was not available. Location is good for train, and approx. 15 mins from the "happening part of the city". 7/11 is close as with family mart.
Visited Kobe for an international conference and the Crowne Plaza was right next door to the conference centre Comfort room with executive lounge access which made the stay very pleasant. Walking distance to the underground and Shinkasen (bullet train) train station which made transfers from Osaka airport very easy. Surrounded by restaurants serving the prized Kobe beef so dining options abound.
Hotel. Was more than expected. Breakfast was more than you could eat, rooms were basic and a little dated but clean Next to the train station with 150 MTV walk so the bullet train from Tokyo 4 hrs and your in the hotel. Will book again next time I go.
Returning back to this hotel next week and looking forward to the stay again. The front office staff are not as well trained compared to the club floor front but not so bad. The queue at the front sometimes do not prioritize members.
I am doing a flight transfer and decided to stay here for 2 nights. From KIX to Kobe on Limousine bus is a scenic path with ocean on one side most of the time during the one hour ride. In the morning when I looked out the window from my room in high floor, I have mountain on left side and ocean a little far away on right side. The calmness helps a lot to recover from jet lag. The train station is right next to the hotel also a super market is down stairs so very convenient. The bed linen and down duvet is five-star luxury quality and staff are pleasant and polite. I will definitely come again!
This hotel is a stones through from the metro and train station and is a few minutes walk from the Kobe gardens and an easy 15-20 minute stroll from the city centre. On arrival I was allocated a single room and I have to say it was the most depressing unloved room I have ever come across and after an epic journey from the UK I was close to tears! I upgraded to a twin room which I would describe as perfectly adequate but it was spacious and seemed much cleaner. Some lovely touches such as the steam eye masks and various other sleep essentials. I ate at the italian restaurant and enjoyed my meal there and the breakfast was really good. The hotel was overbooked for my stay so I only had 3 nights here before switching hotels but if I return to Kobe I would stay here again as its location was ideal.
