We rented this property at a time when VRBO reported that only 2% of properties were available. Based on the posted photos, I was worried that this place wasn't going to be that great. I'm happy to report that the property exceeded all my expectations, it was a LOT nicer than the photos seemed to show.
The property featured mostly higher end fixtures and features. The bed was VERY comfortable (comforter, duvet, sheets, pillows). The bathroom shower has good pressure. The kitchen range uses gas and comes with a built in griddle (perfect for making eggs, pancakes) and cleans up easy. The fridge was also up to our expectations--they didn't use crap anywhere in this home.
As far as negatives, I'd say the only real negative was privacy. It definitely felt like you were staying in someone's house, like maybe and aunt or uncle you only see once every 10 years. While the unit has its own kitchen n' stuff, to use the hot tub requires walking around the back of the house (and over gravel, requires shoes, not that big a deal). The tub is next to a sliding glass door and you could see the inside of their home. While the hot tub was super nice, we'd have preferred if the glass door had a shade over it.
The privacy thing wasn't a huge deal and we had a wonderful time.
