This hotel is what many Quality Inn's used to be like thirty years ago. I have quit staying at Quality Inn for the most part due to the overall decline of these hotels in cleanliness, disagreeable odors, sticky floors and overall disrepair. Based on the reviews I decided to try this one and was pleasantly surprised that this hotel is better than the average Choice hotel. Many Choice hotel owners would benefit from taking lessons from the ones in charge of the the hotel in Kitchener ON.

A little disappointed

The stay started off with a dispute with front office staff. They were refusing to let me view the room first however did finally agree once I explained them I have major allergies and need to make sure there are no odours that will trigger my condition. The front lobby had a strong smell of something and I was already triggered by it. No real information about how best to get to parking for the room or which door to use to get in. The hallway door does not close securely (weak system), and since the room had no carpet the flooring became very slippery when entering with snowy boots. Near hazard occurred, I did suggest they place a mat at the entrance to room and also leave a mop for client use. Not nice walking in cold water with socks. Coffee in morning was horrible but other than that we slept well, shower had good pressure and room was clean.

Really surprised. Internet for Comfort Inn, same address, was poor and another said it was closed. Another said no credit cards. Super surprised that it was super clean, room excellent with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Now called quality inn.
