This is an inexpensive (for the time and place) hotel with very convenient access to I-87 ($0.50 toll to Saugerties) and HITS on the Hudson (Saugerties). While it is dated, it was very pleasant and I would stay there again. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful with directions and a Diner recommendation ...
My room was newly renovated, including ungraded linens and duvet, new bath fixtures, quality bath products, good towels, flat screen tv, quiet HVAC unit, fridge and coffee maker. Good lighting. Tons of outlets, including USB. Breakfast was ok, including a waffle station but bagels and eggs were made ...
The price of the hotel is pretty good and when I got there I got asked if I would like to get upgraded without an extra charge so that's a plus the only bad part was that I could hear all the noise from the room next door and when people were coming up and down the stairs but overall is a good ...
Great hotel to stay. The staff was wonderful offered lots of little perks. Love the coffee and tea bar that is open 24/7. The continental breakfast was very good. All in all, this is a great place to stay. The only downfall is the train if you are in the backside of the building.

Nice place clean well kept. Friendly and helpful staff . Would go back again
My room was newly renovated, including ungraded linens and duvet, new bath fixtures, quality bath products, good towels, flat screen tv, quiet HVAC unit, fridge and coffee maker. Good lighting. Tons of outlets, including USB. Breakfast was ok, including a waffle station but bagels and eggs were made from frozen. All in all a convenient stay on the way to Windham and Hunter.
Spectacular view close to the three ski resorts, simple cosy room, upstairs from restaurant with excellent food. Got the basics from the restaurant, but the calamari was light and crisp, my son got a modified dish for his simple tastes that was spot on, and cooked to perfection, I even tried the special (an italian seafood dish with spinach), and was very pleased with that. Though the place is just off the main road, we had a reasonably priced room overlooking the valley east of the catskills toward the Hudson from the top of the slope. Wide open and complete privacy, easy access. The shades stayed open all night, and we were woken by the morning light on a cozy bed. The owner is hands on, and very friendly with his staff as well as the guests, and was helpful in all manner of things, as well as a warm and easy conversationalist. The wait staff was equally warm, checkin and checkout were simple affairs. Would not hesitate to stay here again, particularly after a day on the slopes. It was nice to have a dinner downstairs in a cozy room with a fireplace and again the huge vistas, that we would normally need to go out for. Instead we finished up and simply headed upstairs. Not a lot of rooms, so no crowds of families in ski boots at all hours trumping past.
rooms are clean. not too much to said. good for 1 or 2 day stay.
