The Space:

Villa 2 at Villas By The Cove is a spacious, garden-view one-bedroom villa suite located just steps from two of South Maui’s most popular white-sand beaches. Newly remodeled and thoughtfully designed, this single-story, 600 sq. ft. villa offers a peaceful retreat with ocean views, privacy, and comfort, nestled within a lush tropical garden filled with mango and palm trees.



Originally built in the 1950s as a classic beach bungalow, Villa 2 captures the charm of old Hawaiʻi with a modern twist. The villa comfortably accommodates up to four guests, featuring a king bed that can be converted into two twin beds upon request, along with a full-size sofa bed in the living room suitable for one adult or two small children. Thoughtfully designed like a second home, Villa 2 comes stocked with essentials and travel extras: beach towels, iron and ironing board, tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, clothes drying rack, and more. Basic necessities—linens, bath towels, kitchen rags, travel-size toiletries, and pantry staples like salt, pepper, and olive oil—are also included.



Enjoy a bright and airy living space complete with air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen for relaxed island living. Additional amenities include a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, a private covered lanai ideal for unwinding outdoors, and gated parking for added convenience.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of Villa 2, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.

Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.

Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.



The Neighborhood:

Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.



Getting Around:

For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

This is my forth time staying at the Villas at the Cove and I have now enjoyed three separate units. I must say that they are all very modern, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The property is an oasis in the little corner of Cove park.

The condo is super clean, everything seemed brand new. They provide beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for each unit which is a nice touch. It’s a small gated complex with a great pool which we often had to ourselves. It’s located in busy Kihei but there are beaches (right across the street) and a lot of walkable and delicious food options nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved the place! Clean, beautiful and the common area was perfect. The only complaint I have is that the bed is WAY too hard to sleep in. The last two nights my husband slept in the couch and I slept on couch cushions. Needs a new mattress.

Booking a condo in Maui is now easy! This is Maui Cove Park inn was perfect and we will stay here every time we travel back!! The villa we hadwaspergectfor us, waking up with the sun to surf in the morning after a great sleep on a super comfy bed... Then rinsing off in the outdoor shower, to make a little breakfast and have a coffee ... All the kitchen that you need well cleaned and looked after! Then a short (2min) across the road to a private beautiful beach to snorkel with turtles and tropical fish ... With cooler/ chairs all the snorkelling gear- towels , matts... Then if back to your home away from home to go either get the car ( parking safe out front) or a short walk along the rd passing the beach/ park to the markets and all that Kihei has to offer!! You have use of beautiful clean BBQ's if you want to eat in , and all this time the owners are available to answer questions, help recommend anything that you need, easy to be in touch with! I was so happy when we came in late from our flight how close the cove was from the highway ... I guess all in all easy clean amazing location with a mango or 2 on top! They have a couple mango trees on the location that were producing mangos for shoothies' just perfect! All in all perfect for us' and for anyone wanting a affordable clean lovely condo for a vacation in Maui! We will defiantly be going back and sending all our friends too to rent any of the Villas at this location! It was perfect!

Villas at the Cove

The pictures were accurate. The location across from the Cove offered wonderful sunsets and views of the neighboring islands. I did have a few issues with the unit in question. The first was the cleanliness of the area rug. It was extremely dirty for such a nice place. I could tell it was shampooed, but it was still damp and had an odor. 2nd, our kitchen window shade was not cut properly, so it did not offer privacy as it ought. 3rd, due to the setup and nature of the villas, it's be nice to have a privacy window tint. I would say smoked tint to still allow light, but aid in the privacy factor. Lastly, the bed was VERY hard. I still liked and enjoyed the venue. I would rent again.

What the pics don't really describe is that you are in a small compound of about 9 villas. They all surround a great pool and common area. You are across from a small park but if you walk left around the corner, you end up on a long and pretty beach. You are also about a 10 minute walk from grocery stores and restaurants. The only negative experience was the firmness of the bed. The bed was rock hard and too firm for our taste. Like your hips hurt in the morning kind of hard. Other than that, the place was great. It would also be a great place for families if you can figure out how to rent multiple bungalows to accommodate large get togethers. On a side note, we really liked Maui. We live on Oahu but Maui was all the things we like about Hawaii but at a slower place. And that quietness was a nice change in terms of traffic, people, parking, etc.

Great time in Maui!

My husband and I had an excellent time in the villa we rented in Kihei for our honeymoon! The residence was very clean and was furnished with everything we needed. When we arrived, we were shown around by the property manager, so that we were familiar with all the facilities. Our villa was right across from an excellent beach as well. Communication with the property manager was great; he answered all of our questions very quickly! We definately plan on returning to this location for another visit and we would recommend this villa to everyone we know.

This home has been remodeled beautifully. We were fortunately able to get upgraded as surrounding construction was happening. The property upgrades look like they will be awesome! Gal & Shahaf were great to deal with and very personable. We loved the location close to the cove & surfing, plus a short walk to good food including Kihei Cafe and Paia Fish Market.
