The condo was nice, spacious and in great proximity to the beach. There was something in the bedding that I was allergic to but they came and changed it for me the following day and I was good for the rest of the time. My only complaints are, we would run out of hot water if we took multiple showers at the same time. Also, we had an encounter with an extremely rude full time tenant in the next door condo. She was giving my children hard time about playing with a simple ball on the walkway. She was trying to tell us about some ridiculous "rues" that we weren't even aware of. It kind of ruined the mood of the vacation for a short period of time.
I wanted to stay a few extra days in Maui after our timeshare so I booked a condo when booking my flight and car through Travelocity. The price was really good so I did not expect it to be a direct oceanfront unit. The place was spacious with gorgeous views and easy access to a beautiful quiet beach. The unit we stayed in needs upgrading and redecorating but it was very comfortable and in a beautiful location.
I felt management could do better to make sure everything is in working order and that the unit is really clean. They could be as classy as their view too and provide a welcome fruit basket and some bottled water in the fridge. For the amount of money it cost, I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. A teapot would be good too. And a toilet paper roll that actually prevents toilet paper from falling on the ground. Little things like that.
Great location and room met all our expectations. Beach front was just outside our unit. Rented at spring break which was quite busy and the4 beach was very crowed. Will look at other times besides spring break .
We stayed in unit 207 and had a great time. Breathtaking views from the unit and lanai, right on an uncrowded beach, and the unit was reasonably up to date and clean. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants. We had an excellent time and would stay there again!
Very nice accomodations. Expensive, compativelynspeaking. Oceanfront is amazing. We love Polo Beach. The weather was a challenge however that was true across the islands. We would recomend this facility to all families that have the respect to control their children and edhere to the rules.
Love Polo Beach Club. The property has everything you could want, pool, jacuzzi, BBQs, and right on the beach. It's also never too crowded on the beach, and it's shallow really far out so it's good for kids. We stayed in #602 and #408 the year prior. Similar layout. 2 bdrm, 2 ba. Convenient for traveling with children. Great kitchen and appliances. Convenient washer/dryer in unit. #602 has the better view. Will likely stay again! Staying with Destination Residences is awesome too because you have the convenience of a condo but the amenities of a hotel, like daily maid service, shuttle rides to all properties in Wailea and concierge service.
We have stayed at Polo Beach Club for more than ten visits. Unit #509 is one of the best at Polo Beach Club. It is nicely remodeled with very comfortable beds. It has a second lanai at the second bedroom. Owner Kim was very helpful with anything that we needed.
Accomidations are old and out dated!! The location was perfect, and the beach was fantastic!!!!! Weather was good! Staff was very nice. The value was meh! Like I said the rooms need a market! 1991 called they want there room back!
My family and I stayed in unit 102. It was a ground floor unit near the pool, two rows back from the front units. The unit was very clean and mostly updated. The beds were very comfortable and the overall size of the unit was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed to cook our meals. If I return I would request this unit because of its overall condition and that it has direct access to the beach out the lanai. It doesn't have the amenities like the near by Four Seasons or Grand Wailea but I prefer Polo Beach Club because of the location at the end of the beach (very private) and the ability to walk out your unit and be on the beach in 30 steps. They have a great BBQ area pool too.
