We are a 2-3 minute walk to beautiful Kamaole Beach III. Our building is located in quiet building 5 on the 2nd floor. Our unit is close to the elevator but far enough away to not hear it. Additionally, there is a beautiful ocean view from our lanai!

The remodel of our unit has now been completed and we would love to share our new additions with you! This condo offers an upgraded vacation experience and is fully equipped with everything that you need to have a great vacation. The following items have just been completed:

- Fresh paint
- New porcelain tile floors throughout the unit (no carpet)
- New bedroom set to complement the king bed
- New couch in the living room
- A new 46 inch high definition flat screen TV in the living room
- Both bathrooms have been remodeled with new granite counters, new sinks and faucets.
- New Split Air in the Living Room and Bedroom
- New Washer and Dryer
- New Water Heater
- New plantation shutters in the bedroom
- New kitchen chairs

The kitchen is well equipped with granite counters, a built in microwave and stainless steel appliances. A new sofa has been added to the living room along with a new 46' flat screen TV and a new Blue Ray Player. Enjoy the beautiful lanai to relax or dine outside while taking in the beautiful garden views of the 15 acre tropical resort. You will also see an ocean view!

You should also know that our listing is one of the few truly “by owner” Kamaole Sands properties on VRBO and HomeAway. Believe it or not 85% of the Kamaole Sands listings on these sites are managed and operated by vacation rental management companies on Maui, where a guest will have no interaction with the actual owner of the condo. In contrast, Karen and I personally handle and manage every single VRBO and HomeAway inquiry and booking for Kamaole Sands unit 5-203. If you book our condo, or send an email to ask a question, you will interact directly with us, not a management company. After all, isn’t VRBO supposed to be Vacation Rental “BY OWNER”?

It is our ultimate goal to provide you with an excellent vacation experience. This is not a typical rental as we treat our unit as our second home. Since you rent "owner direct" from us, we are able to provide you a quality condo at a very competitive price!

Our 1 bedroom 2 bathroom remodeled condo is a large 818 square feet and located in the magnificent Kamaole Sands resort in South Maui. With convenient elevator access to the 2nd floor, it is located in the very quiet building 5, which is know as the 'inner courtyard'.

FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET (wireless) is provided to all our guests for your computer. and prepaid by the owner.

FOR THE BEACH:
The condo is stocked with a beach Umbrella, Cooler, Two Boogie Boards, and two new Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs.

SPAS/RESORTS Less than 5 minutes away: Four Seasons Resort, The Grand Wailea, Fairmont Kea Lani, Wailea Beach Marriott.

Anytime of year is a great time to visit Maui! With the cool Trade Winds, the summers are cooler than most mainland summers, and the winters are famously warmer. Kamaole III beach is across the street with it's beautiful protected beach and grassy play areas, playgrounds and shady trees on the upper level.

We are walking distance to several restaurants and shops, and less than a five minute drive to the exclusive Wailea shops, golfing and restaurants. There are grocery stores (Safeway, Star Market and Foodland) and many reasonably priced to expensive restaurants, boutique shops and souvenir shops. We love being able to help our guests enjoy their time in Maui, so we are pleased to offer you a luxurious retreat for a reasonable price.

For a relaxing longer and quieter stay, come visit us from June thru October when the crowds are gone but the natural attractions of Maui are still abundant. Sun baked beaches, warm ocean waters...treat yourself to an unforgettable and wonderful vacation!

ONSITE FEATURES at Kamaole Sands include a large swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, four tennis courts, snack bar, activity desk, exercise room and eight barbecues with picnic areas.

- COMPLIMENTARY coffee and local newspaper are available from 7am to 9am in the lobby area.

- COMPLIMENTARY Hula party with live music every Wednesday in the pool area.

The condo will have a start-up supply of paper items and soaps available for your use. Guests are required to replenish as necessary throughout their stay.

- The 24-hour front desk offers wake up call and dry cleaning services.

Please Note: Kamaole Sands charges a $25 registration fee (owner pays) and a resort fee upon check-in. The resort fee is $21 per stay + $3 per day. These fees include use of all complex amenities, Wi-Fi, parking, etc.

Top notch property

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay at Kamaole Sands. Lovely property with well-stocked amenities. Len gets an A for communication and very responsive. We liked the location, walkable to beaches and restaurants. Also, with 900 sq ft, we had plenty of room to spread out. (not always true for a one-bedroom condo) Great place to experience Maui!

Maui Vacation

The owners were very easy to get a hold off. They answered my questions quickly and were always available for assistance. Their place was very nice and very clean. It had all the amenities you would need and then some. Dishes and glasses were of a nice quality and plenty of them for a family. They left plenty of laundry detergent and dishwasher soap for a few loads which was nice. They also had an ice maker which was nice as well. Great view of the sunsets each night. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the beaches. Would definitely stay in this unit again. Thanks Len!!!

We loved our stay at Kamole Sands in Kihei! The location can’t be beat for a day at the beach (right across the street), a walk to shopping and restaurants, or an evening on the lanai watching the sunset. A wonderful place for a relaxing week in Kihei

My wife and I stayed here for a week, and we loved our time in Kihei. The condo is in a great location, with easy access to the beach, pool, and BBQ grills. Additionally, the host was incredibly gracious and thoroughly answered our questions in an incredibly timely manner. Amazing!

We had a fantastic stay! We love staying at Kamaole Sands. The condo was incredibly clean and offered all the things to make our stay just right—beach towels, cooler, beach chairs. Len was always in close communication with us, making sure we had everything we needed. I love that this condo has A/C units in both the living room and bedroom, something I always look for when booking a condo in Maui. Would highly recommend this listing and look forward to going back!

Perfect spot on Maui

My wife and I loved our stay at Len and Karen's condo in Kihei. The unit is clean and the kitchen well-supplied with what you need for cooking. Patio looking out on grounds is a great place to eat breakfast and just enjoy the tropical atmosphere. Gym for working out has cardio equipment and weights. Kamaole Beach III is right across the street and an easy walk. Len's communication was timely and helpful for all aspects of our stay. Plan to stay here again!

Loved it!

Kamaole Sands and this condo are very attractive and well-appointed. The balcony was roomy and its view was gorgeous. Beyond the comfy unit itself, I especially appreciated the elevator as well as the pool area. The latter was quite spacious with an abundant supply of lounge chairs and tables arranged in all degrees of shade, from none to total. The hosts were very responsive when I contacted them with a question.

Beautiful condo with an incredible view!

This is a beautiful, very clean, stylish 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that is in an excellent location in Kihei. The view is stunning! Lots of love and care went into decorating this condo. The furniture and bed are very comfortable, and as I love to cook, it makes me happy to see a fully equipped kitchen with new or in excellent shape items to cook with! Communicating with the kind, generous and considerate owners is a breeze. Highly recommend !

A Perfect Vacation

My husband and I decided to visit Maui for our honeymoon having heard great things about the island. We looked through many accommodation listings at different resorts, eventually choosing Len and Karen’s condo. Choosing this condo set us on course for having the most incredible vacation. The condo itself is absolutely wonderful - exceptionally clean, the furnishings are comfortable and updated, the kitchen is fully stocked, the lanai has beautiful views and everything you need for a beach day is provided including chairs, umbrella, coolers, body boards etc. Kamaole Sands is an impeccably maintained resort and the location in South Kihei is ideal. The Maui wildfires happened just a few short weeks prior to our arrival date and we had major concerns about whether it would be safe and appropriate for us to travel there. Len was kind, patient and understanding while we waited to see how the emergency recovery unfolded. I cannot say enough good things about Len and our communication with him. He put our minds at ease and played a significant role in our vacation being so wonderful, he was always available for our questions and provided a lot of great recommendations. Overall, our vacation was beyond perfect and one that we will remember forever. I intend to recommend Len (and Karen!), their condo and Maui at every possible opportunity and would give this review 100 stars if I could! We cannot thank you enough!
