As advertised!

Property was very clean. Furnishings very comfortable. Primary shower was great!! The only “issue” was a creaky bed in Primary Suite and a weird foam mattress topper. But it was comfortable! Very cool to enjoy meals on the patio and watch/listen the birds.

Nice place!

Definitely would stay again. We have stayed in a three different Grand Champions condos over the years and enjoyed all of them. This is a second floor unit with a nice lanai facing away from the golf course. It was well-appointed, with A/C in every room. My quibbles are that the sofa and chair cushions are getting a little tired and could use a replacement or deep clean and the fitted sheets on the master bed were coming loose every morning: they just were not quite the right size. No big deal. Property management seemed professional. Access was easy. Grand Champions is a nice environment.

This VRBO did not disappoint. We had no issues checking in, it was seamless. We had to contact the property manager a couple of times for non-urgent matters and they were very responsive. The unit was clean, and even bigger than we expected. Location was absolutely perfect - walking distance to the beach, to the shops, to a little coffee shop and market nearby. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Great Accommodation with a Great Location

The rental was great. From the ease of the suite/parking, to the amenities such as the pool and the shops nearby. By far the best area on the island, and the apartment was situated in the perfect area withing south Maui. You can go for a walk, and sleep in your rental with safety in mind. Dave

Unit needs major work- Would NOT RECOMMEND

Picture do not represent unit! All the doors and trim had large patches of paint scraped off, sofa cushions and arms were terribly stained, rug was stained. Guest shower and door were full of soap scum. Master closet is actually the utility closet. Upon arrival we found wet towels in dryer which were replaced after I called Mgr. who also cleaned AC units. Master bath vanity light was out and was fixed the next day after several follow up calls re: status. Furniture on "deck" is not what is shown - No umbrella, cheap chairs and table. If you want to sit outside and read - forget it - AC unit is loud and you are above pickle ball courts which are in constant use. While location in Maui is nice - I would NOT recommend this unit, it is in dire need of a facelift. I took pictures but can't upload them in my review.

Great HQ to explore Maui!

The condo was perfect. All the amenities needed to enjoy a great week in Maui. Close to everything, beaches, resorts, restaurants, and adventures. Yet able to escape the crowds to our own peace and quiet. Loved this place!

Great Location, Peaceful Tranquillity

The Wailea Grand Champions was the perfect place for our girls week. Close to pristine beaches and all the conveniences you may want/need on your Hawaiian vacation. The layout was nice and the en suite bathrooms with separate toilet/shower and sink areas are a smart design. The kitchen was well stocked and came equipped with everything we needed including some complimentary snacks. The fridge had a water and ice dispenser which came in super handy. A short drive to Hikei and about 25 minute commute from the airport, we were able to explore, relax, run errands and still be back in time for some jacuzzi and pool time every evening. At one point during our stay we needed batteries for the various remotes to the a/c units and fans. Management was immediately responsive and accommodating. We really appreciated the washer and dryer as well as the provided soap pods. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Just remember to fill out, drop off and place the parking permit on your windshield as soon as you arrive. We woke up to a warning on our windshield due to forgetting to do that upon our late arrival the night before. There is one assigned parking space and a fair amount of guest parking. The provided playing cards and binoculars were a lovely perk. The only improvements that would have made the stay absolute perfection for a group of 6 adults would be queen beds instead of doubles in the 2nd room and a smart tv with screen casting capabilities in the living room. We would definitely recommend this condo to any group and look forward to coming back soon.

Great place for a getaway

Such a great property. Loved the grounds of the villas, lots of greenery and the view from the lanai was beautiful. The condo was extremely clean, we found the beds comfortable and the living room relaxing. Loved the lanai every morning however the umbrella appeared to be missing which made it much too warm to use in the afternoons. Plenty of towels and chairs for our party of six. The coolers provided were dated and very worn, the little cooler had a broken handle and the lid to the larger cooler was detached so they weren’t as useful as we had hoped. We did have an opportunity to use the pool which was clean and had plenty of chairs/loungers as well as clean restrooms. Our first night at the property, someone parked in our appointed parking spot. This wasn’t a huge deal since there are a lot of guest spaces. We told the guard at the entrance and he left the person a note. The next morning when we left the car was still there so we stopped at the management office and advised them as well. When we returned that evening the vehicle was gone and we had no other issues the rest of our stay. Overall we had a great stay, it was quiet and a relaxing place to return to after a day out exploring. We would definitely return.

Great stay in a lovely complex

We really enjoyed this property! It was clean and had most amenities you would need. We do wish there would have been a beach umbrella — we had to rent one for the week but that’s all that seemed to be missing! Comfy beds, good space, nice pool on the property!

This place was perfect for families. Super clean, great location and enough space for everyone. Loved having washer and dryer. And parking spot was directly in front of unit. Pools were also close by and kept clean. It was great having beach chairs provided in the unit. Thanks for a wonderful vacation experience.

June 2 weeks summer break!

We stayed in Grand Champions 130 for 2 weeks in mid June and the stay was nice and relaxing. Accomodations were clean with everything we needed in our unit. Location was quiet and peaceful. Booked a 2 bedroom for 6 people. Sleeping arrangement was a bit iffy so next time we'll book a 3 bedroom.

The unit was immaculate, new appliances were great. Interior space was good for us and our two adult kids and their significant others. The patio was smaller than other units we have stayed at and only 4 of use could sit outside comfortably. The host's guest relations staff were responsive and very helpful when we noticed we were short bath towels and beach towels and needed an extra parking permit. They took care of these things very quickly. This unit had 7 beach chairs and a large and small cooler which was great. We ended up buying three umbrellas, and three straw beach mats to accommodate our group. We left these in the unit for the next guests to use. Also, two masks and snorkels and one set of fins were provided, but not in great shape. We ended up renting gear so we could all use it. It has been our experience owner/hosts tend to have more amenities in the unit for guests to use which is really nice and helps save on costs. Examples include, minimal paper supplies were on hand, we purchased both at Costco as we would have run out by the 3rd day of our 7 day stay. Only 2 laundry soap pods left. In the kitchen, the only items left were salt and pepper...we have found in past stays at other units, there is usually a pretty good assortment of dried spices left from previous guests, oil, foil etc.....Again, certainly no requirement to have these items for us, but it is very nice to have some basics on hand when you arrive. We missed the view of the sunset you get on the golf course side of the complex, but that was the trade off for this unit with two double beds in the second bedroom. The view from this unit is towards Wailea Ike Drive/tennis courts and Wailea kitchen. You have a lovely view over the tree tops and the birds were great...you can see Kelowahe and Molikini which was very nice. Overall it was a very clean, well taken care of unit. It met our needs for this trip, but we probably won't stay again as we prefer the view from the other side of the complex overlooking the golf course. Additionally we have stayed in 4 other units in this complex since 2018 which were host/owner managed and our experience was they provided additional thoughtful/personal touches and amenities which we appreciated very much.

Beautiful Vacation Spot

We truly loved our time in Wailea. The condo was located walking distance to shops and restaurants. And only a 20 min walk to the beach. Very clean unit and it very convenient having a washer and dryer.

Great place, everything was perfect!

My 2 adult daughters and one teen and I stayed here for a girls getaway to Maui. It was spotlessly clean. Communication for check in and out was great. Condo had everything we needed. Comfy beds, cool A/C, fans, nice appliances, well stocked kitchen, clean and updated furniture, tvs in every room, etc. Wailea is gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful. The community pool is a little small, but nice. My only complaint is that there's not a shower curtain on the shower, which would be fine for a couple, but a little awkward for a girls group. No big deal, though. We just left the room when the other was showering. But the shower is really nice and big, with two shower heads. Great for a couple. Can't say enough good about this unit. Will probably book again if I go to Maui in the future. Thanks!
